Safari West

Our family had a great time at Safari West. The animal jeep tour was fun - we saw lots of animals. Bring water on the tour. We staid the night in the African Safari Tents - this was lovely. They were nicely outfitted and very comfortable. It was fun hearing the animal sounds all through the night. Bring warm clothes it got cold during the night. The food at Safari West was excellent - so plan to have dinner there too.

This multi-acre zoo is located in the "heart of the wine country." There's beautiful scenery driving to Safari West, and exotic animals to greet you while you arrive! If you're looking for a place to spend a day, and gaze upon the beauties of the wild, look no further. I highly recommend it for the birds, alone!
