I got a nice Toshiba computer laptop for $600.00 all in. Not only that, the salesman was honest enough to deal me that the computer he showed me was perfect for my needs instead of trying to up-sell me to $1000.00 computer. I respect the fact he listened to my needs and I am very satisfied with my laptop.

Fry's Electronics is the largest electronics store I've ever been in. That also means they have a huge selection of items to choose from and there are some pretty good deals to be had. The cons of Fry's are the long lines of customers that wait to checkout. Unfortunately, I don't recommend a shopping visit around the holidays.

I bought a fridge from them. It's delivered on time BUT the door has damage!!! I was told them at the time. I was told I'll have a new door in a few days! 2 weeks later I went to the store in person (after several phone calls) The store manager Terry told me herself I'll have a whole new fridge tomorrow between 10-2. Well, deliveries for the day are done. I have not gotten anything including a return call from me trying to find out what is going on. I have even went as far as to call Corporate. All I got there is Voice Mail. If you are thinking of shopping there DON"T DO DID !!!!

Fry's opened up a few years back in the Vegas Valley, and this store is like a breath of fresh air. There have been numerous chain electronic stores opening up around the valley over the last few years, but none of them really jumped out at me and kept me hooked.
Fry's is different.
This store is MASSIVE. Their selection of all things electronic is amazing. Whether it's computer equipment, music, movies, games, televisions, or office furniture, this store has it.
Not only is the selection great, but in terms of music, their prices are THE BEST IN THE VALLEY. As far as music CDs go, with very rare exceptions, this place has both the best prices and selection. I actually found the selection here better than the music selection in the FYE by my house! And the prices, well, I guess every place has lower prices than FYE. lol.
The only things I dont like about the store are the location - right between a freeway exit/entrance ramp and the Strip, and the staff. The staff here are NOT bad, but I don't see them jumping through hoops to help me the way staff at some stores do.
Complaints aside this store rocks. It's a pain to get to but worth it. Well worth your time if you want anything electronic.

Fry's has any sort of electronics device you could ever hope for. The store is massive. The prices are good and you can usually find a great deal or two on every visit.

If you want to find a certain movie or anything fry's is for you and for that reason it is better than best buy because they have tons of movies!
service on the other hand is horrible
ive had to bring my laptop in for service about 6 times since i purchased it in 2002.
first of all you should know if you want to get something repaired it will most likely take you an hour of waiting in line before you are even asked what you need.
i sent in laptop for repairs multiple times because after they would fix it , in a month or so on the lap top would be broken again
last time i got it back the top of the laptop had tons of scratches, and there was chocolate all over the cd drive ..
not very professional at all
selectionwise come here .. service wise .. go to best buy

I really feel like a kid in a candy store everytime I walk into Frys. They have everything from TV's.Microwaves,Food,Computer,RC cars,Video games, Home audio and car audio. Plus they have a very helpful staff.
PROS: If its electronic and you need it they have it.
CONS: Only one location in Las Vegas

Went in ONLY to buy the on-sale flat screen and before the salesman showed it to me, he said that I would be dissatisfied with "it." I told him again I wanted to see the sale item, which I bought. I do not like HARD SELL when as a customer I went in after researching what I wanted!!
PROS: Good Prices
CONS: Hard sell, will try to direct you to more expensive item

Fry's has everything from cds to dvds to washing machines, fridges, tvs, stereos, computers....
They have an awesome selection, and a lot of rare dvds. If you go for a sale, the prices are great. Normally, they are average. There is a little cafe in the middle, which serves some yummy food (when you work up an appetite looking at all the stuff). The staff is very helpful. They can get really busy, though, so it might be hard to find someone to help.

If you are looking for a Computer, Tv, DVD's, etc. this is the place where you can find the best prices, great variety, and helpful people. The only items I haven't found the cheapest in this place are telephones, either cordless or with an answering machine.

I just love this store because it always has what I went for. No matter if it was advertized or not, it is there. I can count on them for the best price for anyhing. They also back their guarantees. I'll go back again and again.

When it first came to Las Vegas a few years back everyone like it because they gave a lot of stuff away. Now if your lucky to find someone to talk to that works there and ask for a product ,you will be lucky if they point you in the right direction, Its a self serve type of store. Good luck getting any hefp.
PROS: A lot of people to ring you out, have like 50 registers
CONS: No skilled worker, just lazy ones

This is the best pace to buy anything regarding about electronics because they sell everything you can even imagine. The store is huge. They have promotion items every now and then, you just need to check out the paper. In the middle of the store, they have a small cafe (the place to grab drinks/snacks).

I always thought Fry's was great due to their vast assortment of computer components. In fact, they are. However, if you need to get something fixed, it takes FOREVER to get an item repaired. My laptop broke and they fixed it after waiting almost a month to get it back. Not even a week later, the keyboard went out and now I've been waiting for another month to just get the keyboard fixed.
In short, if you want to build a system from all bare parts, I would go there. If I need something fixed again, I would go somewhere else
PROS: Great prices and selection on computer parts and accessories
CONS: Takes too long to get an item repaired

My boyfriend works for this store. We get most of our electronic necessities from this store even before he started working for this company. You can find great deals on home/office furnishings. You can find virtually anything in this store from lampshade to videos, books, musical instruments, office supplies, maps, all your computer and home video systems. Best of all, you'd find that most of the sales people are friendly and always helpful.

On a recent trip to Fry's, I was told a specific model of computer did not exsist and could not locate one. A short time later, I was approached by the manager who said they di have one, but it had a defective monitor. The operation is very suspect.

I don't even know where to start here. One incident I bought a refrigerator cash. Changed my mind the next day and had to argue with them to get my delivery charge refunded. They hadn't even delivered it yet. It wasn't schedules for another week. Then they said they would mail me a check. After fighting with the manager I finally got my cash back for everything. It shouldn't have to be that hard though.

This is by far the best electronics store around! The store is huge, they have a wide selection of computers, audio video, home appliances, etc. The store even has a cafe that serves a variety of food and drink. The employees of the store dress in white button up shirts & ties, or often times I see the men in suits. My experience with the sales people has been great, and I bought my washer/dryer there, along with many other things.

Fry's Electronics is a great store. When you walk in it like your in a electronics mall minus all the different doors to different stores, it's all here at Fry's. They even have a coffee shop inside here. There are numerous check-out lines so no waiting in super long lines. They have tvs here, computers, games, wires and gadgets, etc. If theres a guy who you need to get a gift for, I'm sure a Fry's gift card would be your best choice. Only fall back to this store, is theres only 1 locations in Las Vegas, its on the strip. You have to drive out here, but its worth it.

Frys Electronics 6845 S Las Vegas Blvd. Las Vegas, NV 89123 702 932 1400. (Las Vegas Blvd between Sunset and US Hwy 215) I enjoy shopping at Frys. I found the selection of items to be varied and priced reasonably. They usually have an ad in the RJ every week with current sales. The employees in the computer department seem knowledgeable about computers and related items.

On Friday I grab my newpaper and head for Fry's. This company is outstanding. They have a large snack area in the middle of the store and you can sit their with their ad and check off what you need. Always they have loss-leaders like paper for 99 cents, DVDs that are way below average prices, and almost anything you can find to enhance your computer. Many items are on sale only for one day and there are dozens of rebates. I've never seen so many items in one store. They install car radios onsite. They even have refrigerators and snack food. An electronics lover's paradise.
PROS: The prices are incredibly low.
CONS: On occasion they are slow with their rebates.

Unless you really know your prices, there's no reason to buy at Fry's. They advertise heavily in the local papers and offer all kinds of deals, but I've found that ordering on the net will get you the same stuff at much lower prices. You can even do better at Best Buy or Wal-mart on some things. I have seen things there, that you don't normally find, like solar panels, but after doing some research I found them overpriced. Plus, as of this writing they have fallen victim to the "repack fee" on their items, a practice I think shouldn't be supported. With all of that said, I know a lot of people that have shopped there, and have purchased very high end merchandise and were satisfied, but I think a savvy consumer can do better.

This store has a good variety of computers, phones, cameras as well as vacumns and dvd movies for purchase and computer games. They claim they are the home of fast friendly courteous service but my last visit the sales rep was so busy talking to another employee he couldn't care less that I was there . I didn't buy anything that trip.
