Dr. Wax

I used to visit this store often and found many great used cd's. if you're looking for rare and indie music this is a good place to shop, they also carry a fair amount of bootlegs. their walls are covered in posters you can buy and there's usually a few bargain bins at the end of the aisles with hidden gems. their prices are average, usually about $8-10 for a used cd. parking at this location isn't too bad, and the staff are all cool people.

Now here's a dangerous combination: A rocka and roll fan like me, a record store and a credit card. Suffice it to say, yours truly has maxed out many a card stocking up on great deals at places like Dr. Wax. I like this store because the employees are not zoned out like some places, they are very helpful and friendly. I mostly visit their store right by the Red Line stop, but this is good too.

This music store in hyde park is a great spot. They have rare music that you couldn't find in a regular store. They also sell new and used cd's, and will also buy your cd's from you. I always buy my music from here used and its in great condition. I would recommend this place to anyone!
