I am not a picky client but this salon makes me feel so "looking forward" to my next visit. Although the other colorists and stylists are most of'em good, from what I looked around at other clients, Shean's work makes me comfy when I have an upcoming ocasion or just a weekend evening outside. The salon is the conveniently located two stations away from my job, on the 6 Uptown train, bet 76th&77th on 3rd for me it's worth the trip and the money. Hope this helps.

I went for the training session and was assigned to Antonio. He was extremely personable and asked alot of questions about my hair and then gave me a fabulous bob haircut. I have gone to training sessions at John Sahag, Warren -Tricomi and Fredrik Fekai. Also have had my hair cut at Alfangi. While all of the haircuts were good none made me look as great as the one from Antonio. My head is spinning from all the compliments. Thanks Jeffrey Sten Salon.

If you want style at an affordable price and are willing to go to a little mom and pop shop come here because that is what you will get. Style, affordability and friendly staff make this shop an A+ shop in my book. Highlights, perms, cuts, styles, etc. They do it all for not as much.

Not as stuffy as many salons and the promise of a good cut. Stylists are great about encouraging new styles without pressuring you. Excellent with color too but expensive.

I absoultely love this salon. My hair came out great and the color is so me. They treat you like royalty as soon as you step in. I have all my friends and family coming.

This Upper East Side salon is part of a chain. The haircuts are reliable, if not inspired. You won't get anything radical here.
The good news, Danny, one of their colorists is top-notch. He really listens to his clients. He is patient and never pushes you into an important hair decision.
The price is getting a bit high for the service they provide, but I'll remain loyal for awhile.
PROS: Quality Hair Coloring
CONS: Boring cuts and uninspired decor
