Albertsons Supermarkets

Sometime ago Cerebus took over Albertsons in florida. I'm pleased with the changes that have taken place. The store was clean and well stocked even on a busy weekend. Employees could be more attentive but were no worse than those elsewhere. Prices on sale items were great, regularly priced items could be lower. The new owners seem committed to making the store competitive in a fast moving field. I'm fussy about some things - cleanliness and freshness are paramount to me. I've never seen a store cleaner that this one and items I looked at were fresh and had a good appearance. I made purchases from the service desk, deli, produce and dairy. The employee at the service desk was very helpful and pleasant. I was pleased with my purchases for both price and flavor.

I find that the prices in this Albertsons are much higher than at my local Winn Dixie's or Publix's. I have recently come into contact with some rude employees as well. The only good thing about this Albertsons is that they carry some items that other grocery stores don't. They don't like giving out rainchecks either. They act like they don't believe that they are out of a certain item, and they have an employee check the aisle to make sure they are REALLY out of the item. The Uscan machines beep at just about every coupon, even when you've purchased the exact item that the coupon is intended for!

CONS: Prices are higher than other local grocery stores
