1 Stars: CM (by john m.)

responded to an ad via email requesting a female. was directed to a very pushy salesman. Intolerant . Spent the day negotiating on a particular vehicle and by the time I was done, the color didnot not exist nor the price. Wanted me to accept a different color. Was indignant when i didn't. Then ton's of faxes to follow. Shouldn't be that dificult to buy a car. It's not oxygen.

Reminded me of CHNisssan. Tactics have changed. I will drive to turnersville or burlington when I purchase in the next two months.

2 Stars: Scheduled maintenance (15K, 30K) - Quality is poor (by John2000 D.)

I had my car serviced here 2 times for regular maintenance (15K, 30K miles service). Both the times, I found my engine coolant was not filled properly...it was still at minimum level. They charged for the full gallon of coolant though. The washer fluid was not filled-in at all. If the things I can see, were not done properly, how can I believe that they did other things correctly? During the maintenance, they never called up to suggest if any other things needed maintenance...It was kind of routine check-up and at the end, they charged the regular service bill. The car didn't seem to be any different (better) than when it was given for servicing. I wonder, how much work they actually perform, may be 1/2 hour work and they charge for 2 hours of labor!
I used to go to Open Road Honda in Central N.J and their mechanics found to be very good. They used to call up (during maintenance) and suggest what else need to be fixed. At the end of the service, the vehicle seemed to be different (working better) than when I gave-in for service.
Next time, I have to try other Honda dealers close by!

The only advantage is that they give drop off and pick up to/from near by places (work or home).

1 Stars: Poor Service, Inappropriate Behavior, Harrassing Salesman (by Melissa M.)

My family has been buying cars at Burns Honda for years, and that is where we always take our cars to be serviced. When I went in to buy my first new car, I was treated terribly. I was fresh out of college and wanted to get a price estimate for the car while still looking for full time employment. I was very clear in that I was not yet ready to purchase the car and wanted to wait until I had a better paying career. The salesman said that if I did not purchase a car that very day, that I would not get one and that they would not order one for me from another dealership. He always wanted close to $2K above the sticker price...not including accessories, taxes, title, etc. I left that day feeling very depressed. The salesperson then called me at least once a week, anywhere between 7am and 11pm demanding to know if I was ready to buy the car yet. The internet guy at Burns was also very sly and kept changing his quote by $1K everytime I talked to him. I went to Turnersville Honda and had a much better experience. I was treated with respect and got a wonderful deal on a car. I would never buy another car from Burns again.

The service department is also very disappointing. I went in yesterday for a routine service, and was hit on by the guy supposed to be taking care of me. He obtained my cellphone number under the pretense of entering it into the system (it is the easiest way to contact me)..and then proceeded to text me from his personal cell phone, even after I had picked up my car and left the facility. I feel that this is very inappropriate.

I only go to Burns because it is close by, but this behavior is making me think that it would be better to drive all the way out to Turnersville, just to avoid the harassment.

2 Stars: Poor service, poor work (by G L.)

I only like this Burns Honda because of its location. It is the only Honda dealer that is nearby to my home, and that offers a full spectrum of services. I hate them because of their poor customer service and pushy salespeople. Once, when I had my car serviced around 9 AM, they told me it'd be done by 1PM. At 12:55PM, they called to let me know that they HAD NOT started work yet. I had to complain to the manager just to get a loaner car. And this was a $392 service job! Prior to this, I had my car oil changed here. For one week after, the oil leaked everywhere. (a cap was not closed) Then only did I notice, calling them to get it fixed. Furthermore, the car prices here are quite bad. When you are making a big purchase like this, I would go to another Honda dealer, even if it was 15 miles farther. The sales staff here are the worst too! Burns Honda specializes in selling new Hondas. They have every single model. I think the fact that they are HUGE and have every single part possible makes them special. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend them at all, as their work is of poor quality and the staff aren't great.

1 Stars: Sales at Burns (by C B.)

I went in to Burns to look at a 2008 Accord Coupe (I had already gotten a discount price from AAA so new what I wanted to pay). We test drove a beautiful car, and I said tell me what the best/lowest deal they could do on it, and if they could I wanted to find one with a different color interior-- they came back with a price $2000 higher!!! And they said they would have to charge me to find one with the right color combo. And they were angry that I was not pleased with the price. I eventually bought the exact car I wanted from Sussman Honda (I drove an hour there, but it was worth it), for over $4000 less than Burns quoted. Unbelievable. I won't ever buy from them or let them service my new Honda... I'm taking it to Willis Honda in Burlington.
