Ratings_icons Huge mall

If you need to go to several places in one stop this is the place to go. They have many of the chain stores in one mall so you can walk to them. The mall is huge and it can be a lot of walking for those who tired easily. It also can be very busy on the weekends especially close to Christmas. They do have great displays for Christmas and the Santa they have is wonderful. Watch out for the teen curfew starting at 4 on weeknights and weekends.

Ratings_icons Fun To Look and Spend The Day

This is a great way to spend the day, but not to shop for one specific item. The mall is huge and you can literally walk a mile looking for just one outfit! Great tourist attraction! There is an indoor amusement park, as well as an indoor, underground aquariam. The fourth floor is filled with tons of various restaurants and a huge movie cineplex. I would be hard pressed if someone couldn't find something they liked. There is pretty much any kind of store you can imagine, as well as QVC at the mall which is always fun. Truly a day full of activities for anyone and everyone.

Imagine every store you can think of under one roof. This mall is it! It is the best! We love that there are so many specialty shops, but also your traditional gap, old navy, Jcrew type stores. However, be warned. If you don't want to feel overwhelmed by young teenage creatures stay away on Saturdays! We think during the week is the best time to visit!

Sure this mall is huge. But if you live around here and need to get some shopping done (as opposed to wandering around aimlessly through 4 stories worth of mall), this really isn't the best place. As another reviewer said, there are no taxes on clothes. But you know what? That's everywhere in Minnesota. It's the law. Sure there are restaurants here, and Camp Snoopy is an indoor amusement park, and if you can think of a store that's in a mall in your home town, chances are it's in the Mall of America, too. In fact, this place is so huge that MANY of the stores have multiple locations in the mall. So that makes that figure of 500+ specialty stores not look as big. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing bad, per se, about the Mall of America. It just doesn't seem to live up to the hype.

If you are born to shop, you MUST visit over 5o0 specialty stores plus the well known department stores Bloomingdale's, Macy's, Nordstrom, and Sears. Mall of America is the largest indoor shopping and entertainment center in the USA. Parking is free, and plan to stay a while, because when you park in the "Texas" lot and wind your way to the other side of "America" much time can pass. Okay, if you are "over' the shopping thing, then step up to the party at the indoor roller coaster. Oh, and be sure to dust off the home plate from the original baseball stadium - a cornerstone of the Mall. This is an all-day, and perhaps all-evening, adventure - from shop, to ride, to dine, to dance, it's all here.
