Great Doctor  5 Star Rating - World class

Dr. Pitaro is one the best people I've encountered in the Medical field. He's Very warm, talkative & Knowledgeable. When you first meet him - you're almost taken back by is genuine concern and positive attitude - highly recommended.

Great, caring doctor, but busy!  4 Star Rating - Very good

I agree with the previous reviewer. I've been with Dr. Pitaro for 10 years and have had no complaints. He is a good listener, which is an important quality in a doctor. And he supports alternative medicine, and I like that he has an open mind.

However, it's true that you have to wait til hell freezes over to get an appointment, and sometimes, when you might be in the waiting room for quite a while. Above all, it's difficult even to get a hold of the receptionist to make an appointment, and when you do, they're more often than not rude.

But better to have complaints about your doctor's office staff than your doctor!

A Great Doctor, But A Busy One Too!  4 Star Rating - Very good

Dr. Pitaro was recommended to me by several of my coworkers, all of whom have various medical conditions and accompanying prescriptions. I usually hate going to the doctor, but needed to get immunized for Hepatitis-A because of a pending trip to Costa Rica. I was stupid and waited until the week before my trip to look for doctors, and most doctors were already booked up. Even though Dr. Pitaro is very busy, he gave me a last-minute appointment to give me the immunization. He was very nice, not cold like some other doctors I have visited. He was also very knowledgeable about a range of subjects (including medicine). However, when I referred another friend to him, he was apparently booked for a month. I guess depending on your ailment, you may be able to get an appointment right away or never.

PROS: Nice, warm guy. Very friendly. Pretty knowledgeable.
CONS: Sometimes you can't get an appointment until hell freezes over.
