The girls that work there aren't quite as hospitable, however, and they could have much better customer service skills. They charged me quite a bit extra to trim my hair after a coloring, which can be gotten for free at several other local salons, and their services were not worth the overall price. Even though the salon itself was very nice, I wouldn't go back there in interest of money and the staff.

For $60, you get a decent-looking haircut that lasts about two months. The whole "franchised" hair salon atmosphere is not appealing, but you get all the basic services. I have been there twice, to a female hairstylist from Thailand, who painstakingly cut my hair to make sure it was even on both sides. I guess that's the most you can ask for from an inexpensive Park Avenue salon.
