from the hussle and bussle of the city, just minutes away.
Large walking paths and breathtaking views.
I love taking my kids to the park. They have a zip cord swing that is always a hit. They even have a children's playroom where the kids can learn about nature and play.
A great time for the entire family.

We went out to Discovery Park on a weekday this last summer and were quite impressed with all that there was to see and do. They have many, many miles of trails that take you from woodlands to the sound and up to the last remnants of a old military base. They have a military cemetary also that we found fasinating to walk through.

Discovery Park is a great park located at one of Seattles westernmost points in Magnolia. The park is huge! There are miles of trails to walk and some to ride on bikes. There are several fields for outdoor sports, amazing views throughout the area, and several picnic areas. If you are going to fly a kite, this is the place to do it in Seattle!
