Top Dog is a Berkeley institution. Top Dog is tiny and plastered with libertarian parapheranalia, but it's somehow still really tolerable. The hot dogs are some of the best in the country, I think. The staff here is always friendly, and they have very musical names. My favorite griller at Top Dog is Harmony, but that's also because she is a feminist smartypants and a good source for gossip. Her mom is cool too.
