Fiddlesticks

Fiddlesticks sits "smack dab" in the middle of historic Boulder City, NV (little town built for the Hoover Dam workers). Quaint town, great stores, throughout! Store has more of a "country"/warm-fuzzy feel to it...all the old favorite fabrics available, as well as new lines. Dolls and gifts, too. Friendly staff, most of whom are very knowledgeable in miniature quilts and needlwork. A nice change of pace back to "calmer" times from the bright, "modern" stores down in town.

Fiddlesticks is Boulder City's very own unique quilting and sewing store. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful plus they offer classes for beginners and advanced quilters. They have an array of cute and clever items for sale for all the non-quilters, too.

A fun place to shop and look around.

The thing that I like about this particular quilt store is its array of colorful fabrics. They carry top of the line quilting materials and the staff is always very friendly.

Fiddlesticks is a quilting store, but they also sell accessories as well as fabric, thread, and just about every thing you might need for quilting. Boulder City has several Art Fairs each year, and Fiddlesticks puts out items for a sidewalk sale. I purchased a nice painted cast iron weather vane at a reasonable price. If you're a quilter or need fabric for crafts, Fiddlesticks is for you.

One could spend hours looking around. If you want a real old west store, come and see. It has so many varities, your head will spin. Fiddlesticks is a must when in Boulder City, AZ. I was totally amazed.
