I have just come back from there and was informed that the Arcade had been closed 3 years before. Really depressed. You should have updated your web site timely.

Broadway city arcade is a great place to take the kids on a rainy day. They have the latest in arcade games as well as some historic games that the parents are sure to get a kick out of. They also have a snack bar and motion simulators which are quite cool for all ages. They can plan birthday parties as well.

They have a lot of room and alot of games. Rather than have you funble around with change they have you put money on a card. After each time you use the card the video game tells you how much you have left. The games range from 50 points to 150 points. (50 points = 50 cents) They have machines to refill your card all over the place. Its great because you don't have to run all the way back to the other side of the arcade. And this place is big its 2 floors of games. Everything from slot machines to win teddy bears to sit down racing games

Too bad this place is closed down! There is no point for this review because you will never get to find out how it is because they are not longer there. I used to play pinball here all the time.

PROS: I love pinball
CONS: no longer there!

Broadway City Arcade is located on one of the most famous streets in New York, 42nd St. I spent part of my sweet 16 there a couple of years ago. You buy a card at the main desk for however much money you want to start out with. It's refillable so if you can't seem to kill all the zombies in House Of The Dead on the first try, you can charge it up and try again. It's easy to get addicted to the games and shell out a lot more cash than you'd first expect. It had 2 floors of games, but they are pretty crowded together. The most impressive room is towards the back where their bar is located, it is lined up with racing games that you can play against your friends. There is also the usual games for tickets you can redeem for prizes, like skeeball.

Be sure to go in the middle of the day if you have younger kids. It's great fun but there have been a lot of situations that have come up late at night at the place, and it was once closed for a time because of a shooting and reopened 6 months ago or so. Not a place you want to be at 2 in the morning.

PROS: Lots of games
CONS: easy to spend lots of money, not safe late at night
