Day Cruise  4 Star Rating - Very good

We did this day cruise while vacationing in Southern Florida. A nice view while leaving Fort Lauderdale. The buffet was pretty good but not the quality of longer cruises. They had an entertaining floor show on the way back to the port. I would recommend.

day cruise  4 Star Rating - Very good

We found a day cruise on this ship while in Florida january 2008.The cruise was only a 5 hour duration but was loaded with fun things to do. There was a great lunch buffet, and numerous activities including bingo and karaoke.there was even a casino.

Alot of Fun!!  4 Star Rating - Very good

Although a bit tricky to get to, located in the middle of an industrial shipping port, the sea escape cruise offers great fun at a great price. About $30 gets you on board, which includes access to the entertainment, and buffet. The buffet isnt the greatest, and if you have money to spend, then go for the sit down dinner which will run you another $30. The best part is the gambling which open up about an hour into the cruise. There are plenty of slots, and tables available. This goes on for about 4 hours, before the night ends with some singing and dancing from the onboard entertainers. The cruise ship itself could use some sprucing up, but for the money, its a time that cant be beat.

Sea Escape ~ Very Nice Way To Spend an Evening In Lauderdale  4 Star Rating - Very good

The Sea Escape is an 8 deck full cruise ship used for gambling cruises now. I was quite surprised to find how nice this ship is, and how good the food was.

Running $35 for non-residents, and $25 for Florida residantes, this is a pretty good deal. The food buffet is included in that cost, a cabin will add an extra $20 to the cost plus a key deposit. The cruise lasts approximately 5-5 1/2 hours and has tons to do from slot machine to high-stakes poker to a full movie theater to just taking a relaxing stroll along the deck in the moonlight.

The staff is friendly, and for an extra fee you can skip the buffet and dine in their posh restaurant on dishes such as duck and lobster. It's worth the extra money!

PROS: Beautiful ship, not over-priced
CONS: none, really
