I called customer service on allowing the gas to be turned on for inspectors to check our furnace and stove for selling the home on 609 Grand Revere Place in North Las Vegas. The customer service Rep Evonne was very effective. and professional. the gas will be turned on and the stove, and furnace checked. thanks so much for your professionalism ..

While the gas prices keep rising (and what can you do since you need to use gas?), it makes me feel a little better to be using Southwest Gas since any time I have called, their customer service is good.

Southwest gas seems to be a sort of a monopoly on gas because I don't know any any other company that competes with them. They will come out to your house and light your pilots for free. I found that to be very handy when we weren't sure how to light the pilot on our gas fire place. Personally, I think Nevada Power charges an arm and a leg, but Southwest gas seems very reasonable. Also, I hear that if you even suspect you might have a leak somewhere, they will come out and inspect it for free. That's a long cry from what some of these other companies charge, such as Sprint to come and and do anything to your house or apartment. Sprint has some really ridiculous fees.

I thought that we might have had a gas leak and they immediately came out to inpect our home and completed a safety inspection. There was a small problem and we took on their recommendation and were very please with the service.
