Campbell 16 Cine

We bought some discount tickets from this theater for my son's birthday. We didn't mind going to an early matinee to save a little money. We were not told that the discount tickets would put us in a tiny little viewing area. When we got inside, the movie had been so overbooked that there were no two seats together unless we wanted to sit in the very first row. I tried that, but you couldn't really see the movie that close. They DID give us replacement tickets for a different showing because we couldn't sit together. They let us use the tickets for the bigger viewing rooms, but even this was pretty small.

This is a good movie theater, but not great. The seating is nicely elevated and the sound is great, but the price is not the best. Also, ticket sales were primarily outside, so if it is raining it is an adventure. They have a tricky location that is off of a main street with limited parking. I don't really recommend them, but it is Springfield, Missouri's largest theater.

I concur with the previous reviewers in saying that there are better places to see a movie in springfield, that are more comfortable, less crowded, and less expensive. That said, it is not a bad theater, and they usually have plenty of showings for the newest hollywood fixin's if that's your bag.

Besides being the newest and largest movie theater in town there is nothing really spectacular about this theater. It has 16 cinema rooms, some with stadium seating. There are better deals around town, except for the "Rush Hour" prices between 4 and 6 p.m. Parking becomes a challenge after 7 p.m. on weekend nights.

This theater is just ok. They do have stadium seating, but the seats are not very comfortable. Some of the theaters are kind of small, too. It is always more crowded, too.

Campbell 16 is not Springfield's best theater. It is a little more expensive than others and the seats are NOT very comfortable. They do have stadium seating, which is nice, but overall it is NOT the best theater in town. I find Campbell 16 to be overcrowded most of the time. I would not recommend going here unless you can't see the movie you want to see somewhere else.
