Sunset Place

I don't really shop at sunset place, but go to the movies from time to time. If you validate the parking at the theater you'll get a discount off the parking, even though it IS expensive. ( that's why I don't shop there) It's best to use the automated machines to buy tickets or buy tickets online because you'll be wating AWHILE if you decide to buy tickets in line. The theatre is large with nice cushy seats and a large screen. Consession foods, of course is expensive.

PROS: Nice seats in theater
CONS: it is expensive to park there

The atmosphere is fantastic. This is a place you want to take people from out of town because it is a nice experience. They have various shops that will please most, as well as resturaunts. Most people end up at sunset place for the imax theatre or the amc theatre, which is the most comfortable to be at.

PROS: The theatres and choices in stores
CONS: Parking is expensive and crowded.

This is a great place to watch a movie. This is a great place to shop for anything you need. The parking in this place is terrible if you forget to great your parking stamp by the movie then you pay big bucks.

I'm not a big fan of shopping at this little shopping place since the shops are very high priced with specialty stores the norm. But, I do love the movie theater that features stadium seating even though it is a bit confusing just to get into the theater...Buy a ticket on one floor, go into the theater on another...

All that aside there a few good places to find a bite to eat and the carts have some unusual items to buy

Parking is a rip-off though but if you go to the movies don't forget to have your ticket stamped when entering the theater

They charged me $10 to park for 2 hrs in their garage. Its outrageous! The attendant even admitted that its unfair and that the price posted is wrong, but shes not the owner and cant do anything. I called to complain, but no response. Park at someones house and walk a block.

Sunset Place is a little different- there are giant (fake) trees welcoming you at the entrance. But inside the open-air mall you get inexpensive joints like Charlotte Russe mixing with trendy Banana Republic and the ever so chi-chi Armani Exchange. The AMC theater has stadium seating and good sound. You can eat off of a cart or sit down at Marino's. This is the place to hang out (if you're 15) and get some shopping done.
