Base has a cool selection of clothing for both men and women leaning towards the upscale end of beach casual. The have shoes for both sexes, but a much better selection for men. Beyond clothes, they have a music section where you can listen to dance, trance and other interesting cds before you buy. Cool books on art and culture and interesting trinkets like cool little Japanese toys. They also carry fashion jewelry for women and men.

I visited Base, because they have nice clubbing style clothing for men. It's nice outerwear, but not too fancy, just good enough to go out to dinner with, or go clubbing. The quality, and materials used in the fabric of the clothing is outstanding, it's durable and high quality. Best of all the clothing is very trendy and in style. The customer service was good, and the pricing is good for the sort of clotihng that is offered.

Trendy without feeling like it's trying too hard, Base is a place to get some chic men's & women's duds, shoes, and accessories. The prices can be steep, but you'll find stuff that you'll want to wear everywhere and all the time. The shopping experience is fun- good music keeps you pumped. This is a great place!
