Pure Fitness

I recently relocated to AZ and was shopping around for gyms. I had a very insightful experience with a male employee named Chris @ the Arrowhead location of Pure Fitness. He was very rude, sarcastic and demeaning. I'm shocked to hear someone speak so unprofessionally, and I am surprised that he is able to get away with such a poor attitude.
By the time I was done with the conversation I felt very uncomfortable and humiliated, and I didnt even step into the club yet.
I am a Physical Therapist, so I know how important it is to work-out in a comfortable environment that promotes a positive attitude and is friendly and compassionate. And this place appears to be none of the above. I am really glad I dodged that bullet.

i love this gym . the main reason is the fact that they dont have any contracts.they have a low monthly charge and they also have group classes on certain days and on weekends.they have good facilities and they are well maintained and very clean.they have good instructors who enhance your visit.

This is a good gym because it is not as busy as the large gyms that are chains across the valley. Another great benefit to this gym is there is no contract and the prices are lower than most other gyms. I enjoy this gym and have found it to be worth it. The staff has always been nice and greets me when I work out.

I was a member of this gym for about a year. I was satisfied, but wished the gym was larger than it was. It did get busy at times, and they do have decent hours most days of the week. The fees were reasonable.

One of my favorite things about this gym is that there is NO CONTRACT and it is relatively cheap (I pay $22/month for a corporate membership). The classes are great although I wish there were more classes on the weekends. The trainers are pushy when it comes to selling and they don't all seem very knowledgeable about creating unique workouts for each person.

PROS: Interesting classes, lots of equipment, 24 hours during week
CONS: Trainers are definitely sales driven, not 24 hours on weekend
