Ranch 99 Market

Ranch 99 Market is a great fresh seafood market. It always seems to be busying. Wide variety of Asian and Hispanic foods. The bakery is fantastic and so is the deli. Add up your deli and bakery bucks to get free items. Very clean and friendly.

This Ranch 99 is not as crazy as some of the other ones in California. Everyone seems a little calmer at this location, which is nice for a change. They have a great selection of asian food, and there are a lot of samples to be had (a la costco style). They even have a nice little Hong Kong BBQ corner where you can order things like BBQ pork and soy sauce chicken off of the hanging rack, and they will cut it up for you.

This place is terrific for everyday shopping. They have a large produce section, a deli with lots of asian stuff like cheap fried rice & roast duck and the best fresh fish section going around.

Any place that has an aisle prominently dedicated to "Oyster Sauce" gets my vote as Foster City's most devoted market (sorry Safeway).

PROS: Fish - choose something fresh of the boat & they will fillet it for you!

99 Ranch Market is an Asian supermarket. Unlike many other Asian grocery stores, its clean and their prices are just great! They have a very good selection of fresh vegetables, particularly asian ones like daikon, green mango, asian eggplants etc. I love to buy fresh fish from them. Fish is usually much more expensive at supermarkets and not as fresh as Ranch 99. This store is in a plaza with plenty of parking. Check out their deli. They give out deli coupons when you checkout. So often you can taste their yummy deli for free.
