I used to enjoy going to the fair. Until I became one of those people who have to rent a scooter due to health issues. The new rental place is Vista Mobility. The scooters are in horrible condition, and so uncomfortable it makes being at the fair miserable. I have knee issues -- these scooters do not allow you room to extend your legs even a little. And they cost $50, plus an online fee and a cancelation refund fee. Total $59. And you must get there before 12 noon or they cannot guarantee your scooter for you -- even after you paid for it in advance. The old company was the Spinal Cord Injury Association and they had wonderful scooters. Unfortunately, they lost on the bidding to Vista. I will not be attending events at the Fair Park again and I encourage other disabled people to do the same.

This is the biggest fair I have ever been too. They have TONS of rides and also a lot of good food booths spread around the fairgrounds. Definately a fun time for the family of all ages, and they serve the BEST funnel cakes here in my opinion.

A big fair, that's by far the truth. So much to see here. Tons of rides. And of course, you must sample all the local favorite specialty food items. 4-H exhibits, concerts, specialty booths. The kids will love all the action. Lots of animals competing as well. Definitely schedule a whole day if you plan to visit.

PROS: Something for everyone in the family
CONS: none

This is an excellent State Fair. The cream puffs are superb and there is so much high quality entertainment for the whole family. The admission is very reasonable and fun is to be had by all! The animal barns are plentiful and there is even a birthing barn, where you can observe animals giving birth live.
It is a wonderful experience for everyone.

My family and I love the Wisconsin State Fair!!! We have been going there for the past 10 years. The food is great and the animals are such fun. We always end up buying a teriffic new product as well. We especially love the cream puffs and the funnel cakes. There are quite a few restaurants to eat at, including Saz's and Shakey's to name a couple.

Prices are still reasonable, and the fair grounds are less crowded than Summerfest, although, the music is just as good. This year they have some pretty good country and rock acts coming in. The new remodeling of the park is nice, and there are also a lot of different vendors that you can visit. You've got to get a cream puff if you're into that..don't eat one if you're on a diet! The pig races are always fun and the flea market building is always packed with deals.

The rides are also fun, be sure to check them out!

Cows, pigs, sheep...roasted corn, cotton candy, soda...loud music, free concerts, friendly people...rides that go up, down and every-which-way...the Wisconsin State Fair is worth the price!

PROS: Food, Music
CONS: Get your running shoes on. You have to walk a lot!

There's a little something for everyone at the Wisconsin State Fair! There's the food (I LOVE the corn-on-the-cob, soaked in butter!), seeing all the animals, especially visiting the birthing barn for your older kids! And there's some concerts and such for the adults, too!

We are so lucky to have such a wonderful State Fair right here in West Allis! Visit all of the animals, watch the judging, enjoy the rise, try your hand at the games, take in a show, shop the hundreds of vendors and be sure to sample all of the food!

Don't miss out on this year's state fair. IT's August 5th through the 15th! (2005).

Adult tickets are $8 each for regular admission.

Fun and games, tons of rides..and dont forget the great food.

The state fair is known for it's CREAM PUFFS!

Lots of companies come out and set up with their wares and offer demonstrations and even free samples.

Dont miss out! See you at the fair!
