Musical Magic

This is a fun and engaging class. Price is typical of this sort of thing. Roseanne is a great teacher. He voice is the best. SHe loves every one of those kids. She loves what she does and you can see it. My toddler absolutly loved her. We plan to attend many more classes.

There were three things that I really loved about this place:

First, the director Rosanne has a beautiful voice, a great personality, a genuine love for music, and an intuition for kids' responses to it.

Second, the atmosphere is great, with bubble machines, painted walls, and oversized plush animals to cuddle.

Third, Rosanne does a great job of introducing objects to the kids (such as musical instruments, puppets, scarves) and then asking them to put them away after each song. It really taught my child how to "let go" of an object and return it to its proper place, as hard as it may seem at first.

A great and worthwhile investment for your child's development of music appreciation.

CONS:

i took my daughter to this class for a trial to see if the class was good and if it entertained her. I was so happy with this class that I have signed her up for more classes on a weekly basis. My daughter loves the director and just kept smiling for her (which is rare because she usually reserves her smiles for only people she knows). The price for this class at this school is normal for these types of classes. It is in a really good neighborhood, but parking can be a pain because of how busy it can be there.

PROS: Great teacher and excellent programs
CONS: Parking not so great

Musical Magic is for kids 0-4. They offer Parent/Child interactive classes that introduce kids to music, rhythm, and structured playtime. Rosanne, the director, does an absolutely fabulous job at engaging each child and helping them discover new sounds and concepts. Amazingly, she memorizes each child's name before the class starts and then doesn't forget! Prices are average for north side classes of this type. Our daughter just loves it here and we plan to sign up again and again!
