NEVER take your pets here. I would give zero stars if I could. He is completely incompetent and negligent. He cost me thousands of dollars in emergency surgery(at another vet) and I ended up having to put my beloved dog down. On Sunday I brought my dog to the emergency vet(SRVS in Dothan-I highly reccomend them) because my dog was vomiting and not eating that started on Saturday. The vet here did X-rays and blood work and said my dog had an intestinal blockage and she would need to see her regular vet(walden pond) for surgery to remove. I brought her to walden pond first thing on Monday. He said it was a blockage and he was going to give it a day to see if she would pass it on her own( I've since been told he should have done surgery right away). On Tuesday walden pond called and said she passed it and I could come get her. When I asked what the obstruction was he says he didn't know. On Wednesday my dog was still not eating and was still vomiting. I took her back to walden pond and just gave my dog a shot and sent us home. On Thursday she was still not earring so I took her to SRVS. The vet here did more blood work and X-rays and said her blood work was MUCH worse and the X-rays looked identical to the one she took on Sunday. Walden pond obviously took no blood work or X-rays to confirm that the blockage passed. The vet at SRVS took her in for emergency surgery but sadly by this time too much of her intestines had died and there was no way to repair it. My dog had to be euthanized. If walden pond would have done the surgery on Monday like he should have she would still be with me now.

I liked the vets work however I will NEVER go back or recommend, here is why:
The vet came out to our farm,(my parents and I split the bill between us) did 5 coggins, 10 shots for horses, 3 dogs shots, gelded a horse and did an exam on another (charged me over $30 for not even 2mins looking at the horse) anyway, that was not the issue. The issue was he recommended I give the horse shots costing $4 each. I needed three shots, he told me to come by the office and pick them up. The vet came out on a Thursday, I did not make it down to his office until the fallowing Tuesday. I asked to pick up the shots, had cash out to pay when the lady at the counter said that we could not have the shots until our bill was paid in full. I told her that was not an issue to pay the bill, however I had not even received it in the mail yet and as soon as I got it I would pay. She said that we would not be getting the shots until our balance was paid. Mind you, I it had been only a few days from when the vet had been out and he told me to get the shots. Then when I got home I called and asked if that was really the case and another lady said that was correct, I told them that they lost me as a customer, I would pay my bill when I received it in the mail and I was done with them. The only response was ok then they called back twice harassing me being rude and using inappropriate language on the phone to me saying that no vet in their right mind would ever bill someone $375. I told her that its a very common practice to bill people as a vet after you come to their farm, and I really dont know any horse farm calls under $375. She proceeded to call me and be nothing but ugly to me on the phone. I will NEVER use this vet again, they obviously do not care about the customer service, or the animals as my horse did not get the $12 worth of shots he needed form the vet ( I did drive to Eufaula and get them)
These people will not get any more of my money ever and I strongly recommend you take your business else where so you are not treated like this.
