Peach Park

ARE YOU KIDDING? Peach Park, hands down, has the very best peach ice cream in this country! My family and I were there last Friday evening and everything was DELIGHTFUL... the peaches, the park, the ice cream and the wonderful rocking chairs! Also, I thought the pricing was reasonable for everything we purchased. Oh, and I don't know the managers (or the employees) but everyone there was totally charming!

The managers are alcoholics who are always drunk. the owners brother killed a little girl while driving drunk & they paid the cops off. there is a problem with roaches. the health department should really shut the place down. Everything is really overpriced.

In addition to some great barbecued pork sandwiches, we purchased two delicious pound cakes for a celebration we intended to have at home (Ft. Myers, FL) in a couple of days. The best!!!!! If I could order those via mail, I'd do so frequently.

Peach Park is okay, I thought it to be some what dirty and old as far as the seats in the park (close to the store). This is a great place to go if you have kids that are old enough to run and play, they have a great park with lots of grass. The rocking chairs that over look some of the park are nice but you can never get one. I tried for 30 minutes! My favorite item at Peach Park are the fried peach pies and milkshakes other then that this place is really over rated.

Peach Park is OK, but probably a little over rated. We do make the stop here from time to time, but we actually prefer what's on the otherside of the Interstate. Now, truth be told, the kids probably enjoy Peach Park a little more, because they get to "stretch" a little more and romp and stomp, where they don't at the other choice, so we do sometimes choose to come here. As the other reviewer said, it's a good stop, with my second choice of good Peach Ice Cream!! Prices are fair, but not fast food cheap.

Peach Park is a great place to go while you are in Clanton. They have a wonderful selection of fresh produce along with locally canned goods. There is a nice selection of Clanton gift ideas there too. The park has a wonderul garden to stroll thru with swings, a koi pond, a beautiful waterfall, a nice playground and wonderul plants. While you are there you should try some of their homemade icecream too!
