New management, Old ways. Liger's has hit some rough spots in the past, but with a change in ownership this past year, things are turning around, and it is back like it was before. If you were disappointed int eh oast few years, its time to come back again. And when Millie makes her Amish bread, it's well worth the trip!!

I hosted a neighborhood party for approximately 20+ folks and used Liger's for my pastries and desserts. The order was reasonably priced, ready for pick-up at the appropriate time, and absolutely delicious. I found the staff to be customer service oriented and very helpful as I tried to decide the best "mix" of pastries for the event. Carl even provided samples of recommended items. A great experience...they are my bakery of choice....HIGHLY recommended. Easily a five star rating!

Liger's is a wonderful bakery which was established in 1944. I am proudly affiliated with the bakery, & every day there are 2or 3 different people who thank us for the great products, for the cleanliness & pleasant atmosphere.

I am writing this because the review by "Very Disappointed" was written by a disgruntled employee who got fired for doing a poor job. Common sense tells you that, if you truly got a cake that ruined your child's birthday party, you would DEMAND your money back & give them a piece of your mind!! NO ONE has had anything but positives for us; so, TO THE FORMER EMPLOYEE: You need to increase your IQ before writing another false review.

I purchased a cake from here because some of my friends recommended Liger's as one of the greatest bakery in town,only to find myself very disappointed.When we got ready to cut the cake at my child's birthday party we found some little hard bugs in the cake.Now that was very unacceptable do they not pay attention to any thing up there?That makes me wonder exactly how clean is this bakery?Well i can certainly tell you that I will never purchase anything from them again!

I went to Ligers last week because a few months ago they were offering hot plates. I was disappointed that they didn't have those anymore, but was extremely pleased with the homeade chicken salad sandwich on homeade bread. With chips, it was waaay plenty to eat (they put alot of chicken salad on the bread). I'm going by this afternoon to pick up enought for a light dinner at home. My husband will love it...it's better than mine!!

A friend & I had lunch at Liger's today. Wonderful homemade chicken salad sandwich & made from scratch pimiento cheese too. Picked up my son's birthday cake which was as good as it looked.

Sign said "Under new management". Staff was very friendly & helpful. Just like the good ole days!

after reading the comments regarding issues with employee attitudes, I called Liger's simply to inquire as to hours of operation, as I was in need of a birthday cake. The individual who answered snapped off an impatient answer and then hung up on me. much validity to the other posts. very sad.

I have ordered my daughter's last two birthday cakes from here. Both times it has been delicious! The icing is very fresh and not crusty...the cake is moist and yummy. I picked out the design from their book and it matched perfectly. Prices are high, but you must pay for quality!

The staff hear is very friendly. I ordered a cake here because I went to pick up my cake at Walmart and they told me they lost my order. They made my cake in 2 hours and it was ready for my daughter's birthday party that same day. The cake was delicious although it wasn't decorated quite the way I wanted it. But, for a last minute order I was pleased.

The quality of the cakes and baked goods has deteriorated steadily over the past two years while the prices have become exorbitant. The staff is especially rude and getting lunch there has become disturbingly like the Seinfeld 'Soup Nazi' episode.

Everyone in town recommended I get my son's birthday cake from Ligers because they said it is the best in town. I thought the icing was terrible and the cake was dry. Will not go back.

I've always thought highly of Ligers, but lately the quality of baked goods has not been up to par. Also, there are days I've visited and the staff just had nasty attitudes until I just walked out.

We have used them for years. They always have great goodies and are really fresh. The place is clean. Sometimes the staff is alittle short, but we get fast service and always good products.

I have always enjoyed Ligers Bakery ever since I was a child. I love taking my child there especially during the holidays when they have holiday cookies. It is always so hard to choose.

I've been going to Ligers since they were in the Normadale shopping center. I remember pressing my nose against the glass cases to look at all the goodies. They have the best chicken salad every. I've always enjoyed anything I've ever both from them!

This bakery has been around for a long time and it is great. It's worth driving across town to get some of their fabulous chicken salad. And their cakes are pretty good, too! If you want the feel of a hometown bakery, Ligers is the place for you.

My family has always enjoyed cakes and other baked goods from Liger's. For years we have always purchased cakes from them. You have to try their 7 layer chocolate cake, it is to die for!
