Pauls Body and Paint Shop Incorporated

One day after I had my car hand washed, I noticed that there were paint splatters on the car. I wasn't sure how it had gotten on the car and was very nervous about the paint staying on the car or removing it.

I took the car to Reinhart body shop and they kept telling me that nothing they did could destroy the factory paint job. They then stated that they would buff off the paint and spray paint over any residual paint. Even though this sounded unacceptable, I was going to let them do it because Reinhardt is such a trusted name by me.

Before getting it done though, I decided to go to Paul's. Paul's told me the proper way to remove the paint and stated there would be no spray painting involved.

I took my car to Paul's at 8:00 and it was completed by 4:00 p.m.. There are no remnants of the paint.

I highly recommend Paul's paint and body.

I reread the negative review over and over again and I simply cannot believe they would dent someone's car and do poor quality body work on the car. This is a body shop highly connected (in cahoots) with Geico and other insurance companies. It would not benefit them at all to do shoddy work.

I have had additional work done by Paul's (a lady hit me) and it too was done exceptionally well.

Update: The previous work that was done had to be redone at least 5 times. They did another repair and it was poorly done as well. Now, I just discovered another problem

The people at this shop are VERY NICE and accomodating, especially Mickey Horne, but I would not use them again. I am now worried about the long term effects of letting them do the work in the first place.

The problem, in my opinion, is that they have hired people that are NOT detailed oriented. These people are also in a rush. When you combine an overview personality with an "I'm in a hurry personality" you are going to get work that is sloppily done, but produces volumes of work.

I hated to have to add this update, but there was simply too much going wrong with the work they did (Simple I may add) for me not to inform other people.

No, you won't find it easily as it is in an out-of-the-way part of town, but they have a fairly long history in Montgomery. The paint job was good quality at a reasonable price that was significantly lower than the other body shops I canvassed. Ronnie was great at returning calls and communicating with. The car looked new by the time they were done.

My sister and I, at separate times, wrecked our cars and our insurance company directed us to Paul's Body & Paint Shop. Both my sister and I were so disappointed when we got our car back. I had a new dent in an area that was not affected by the wreck, and my door wouldn't close. My sister's hatchback was broken. I will never set foot in there again!

Paul's is the best in town! We have used them numerous times for body repairs due to accidents. They are very professional and really care about pleasing their customers. The manager there is great and has gone above and beyond in helping out with our last vehicle.

I've used Paul's on two occasions. Both were metallic clear coat paint repairs. I had a problem with the first one which they quickly rectified, and the second one was perfect. Recommended.
