May Vet is a good place to take your animal if you want the very best. Dr. May is the best vet I have ever encountered. He has a very calm demeanor which is great especially when taking your animal to the vet can be a very stressful ordeal. He seems to care for the animals and does what is in their best interest. I would recommend taking your animal to this vet. If making an appointment or bringing your animal for a checkup ensure you get Dr. May.

I dropped my Cat off around 10:30am becaues she appeared sick, turns out my cat wasn't seen until 4:30 or at least that's when the doctor decided to call me back. Guess he was too busy making other money?? to top it off he left a short message telling me about blood work because i guess he didnt think it was important to actuakky talk to me even though i waited on hold 3 times earlier to talk to him and he wouldn't come to the phone. the next day I came by to visit and the lady that walked me back looked like she had been sleep (unproffesional)!! doesn' t make me feel better becasue i think she worked in the back facility. But around 9:15 i received a phone call from the vet on duty that day who seemed to really care she even told me she was doing research and was determined to found out what was going on she told me if she couldn't find out she would send me to Miss State. I respected it because she was at least trying and told me she would send me if she couldnt find a diagnoses. The Vet assistant put me in the room and told me a little bit about home care but the important thing was she asked if i had any questions then Dr. Drane came in to talk to me. they had already written everything down and had me an appt card to return in 7 days for a recheck visit
As I walked into the hospital I thought oh no another old country vet, but once I talked to the receptionist who happened to be an older lady she was very helpful with telling me what shots I needed to get and when to get them. I returned later that day to receive shots from a world class veterinary who gave very helpful information to me because I had never had a pup only kittens. The nurse was also very helpful i could tell the Vet and nurse made an excellent team and got along very well because they had me laughing the whole time :)... But overall very personable and knowledgeable girls... I can't wait to go back and see Dr. Katy. My puppy also felt very comfortable even while receiving the shots. They even called the next day to check to see how he was doing after the vaccines.. A+ in my book

CARELESS&MONEY LEACHES. First I thought it would be a good experience. Once I picked up my vet from the procedure & paid, not one person informed me as to what the wound is supposed to look like, what the healing process is like, they did not have him a bandage, or a e-collar. I had never had a pet to get neutered, so I thought well maybe this is how it is now! Well, I noticed that where the incision was it was open(this was on my way home, & he laid to sleep as soon as he got in the car), turns out THERE WERE NO STITCHES LEFT BUT ONE!!! I took him back, they said they would have to staple him, so they did, when I pick him up from this procedure then they give me the e-collar, and charge me 52.00 for the collar and the antibiotic. shouldn't have they given me this the first time???? of course not, they want to make more money. Well fine, i take him home, and wow, the staples are coming off. even with him having his e-collar on! of course by this time their office had already closed shortly after i had picked him up. so next morning i call them and tell them i need to bring my dog back in for more staples there are none left! i asked the receptionist.."I wont be charged for this right??? considering i'm not responsible for the stapling right?" she said no, so i tell her my husband will drop my dog off on his way to work, because i was already heading to work before they opened. well, when my husband gets there they want to CHARGE us AGAIN!! Seriously!!?? this place has more cracks in what they say than anybody! Then when i call to complain, the lady practically blames it on me!!?? oh you should have kept him calm & in a crate! I'm thinking...seriously????he had been sleeping since he got home!! how much calmer could he be!!??then she says oh it states in your invoice that you should have kept him calm, i told her all i saw was numbers, i'm gonna look at it again, so i hung up, pulled the invoice out & surely it does NOT state anywhere the instructions! URGH! NOW I'M HAVING TO TAKE CARE OF THIS MYSELF. WILL NEVER TAKE ANY OF MY PETS HERE AGAIN, AND I RECOMMEND EVERYONE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR ANIMAL, OR YOU, THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY
