Van Leez

I tried a short hair cut at this salon and discussed coloring with the stylist. The haircut was bad (it was flat, uneven, and had no lift). This was in spite the fact that I was told the stylist they booked me with for my appointment was the best for my type of hair and cut. No one bothered to re-book me for a cut or talk to make an appointment for coloring or even to suggest hair care products. I came her from the DC Metro area where paying for good salon service is the norm - even in high-end chains where they offer you coffee or tea while you wait for the stylist. I saw nothing high-end about this salon and was not offered anything in the way of making my visit to this salon pleasurable or to ever make me want to return.

This place is awesome. They have many skilled professionals here and you never have to worry about a bad color job or a haircut that will make you cry. The staff is wonderful, friendly, and attentive to your needs. They make you feel important and always deliver the highest quality of service and for what you are getting I don't really consider it that costly.

I have natural curly hair and I switched from a friend's recommendation and have never been so happy. Kamee Spear is so down to earth and she doesn't try to sell you more stuff to do to your hair. She assists you in anything you ask for and tries to guide you to ensure your hair looks beautiful and is easy to manage bases on your lifestyle.

My new love is the fact they use AVEDA products and they do not test their product on animals. I want to feel beautiful but not at the expense of an animal suffering.

I won't go anywhere else as long as I live here. It isn't just my hair stylist it is the kindness and relaxing environment. They exude beauty and caring about you.

The customer service at Van Leez is excellent. They give great haircuts, and are always good about suggesting different looks. The prices are comparable to other quality salons.

I have been using Van Leez for about 2 years. Darrell James is my stylist and he is great. I have naturally curly hair and he is the best when styling my hair. It is very hard to find someone who knows how to do curly hair. Everyone there is always very kind and helpful.
