Very unprofessional. Did not chose them, AHS our home warranty company sent them. We have been without AC in our upstairs and my husband's office for 1 week 2 days now in 95 degree heat. Myers diagnosed on Monday June 18, 2012 and said they would be back tomorrow to fix and would call fist thing in the AM. My husband had to call at noon b/c we had not heard back and got that they had forgotten and had not looked for the part yet, said we will call back in a few minutes. We called back at 1:23 and got told still looking. We called back at 2:06 still no answer. Husband called back again 2:10 asking for the owner who was short and seemed bothered, made excuses, and basically said we were liars when his girl in the back ground lied and said she had called that morning. We gave him the times of outbound calls form our phones and offered to drive down and show him the phone log on our phones where not one call came in from them. Can't stand Liars and people who don't do what they say they will do. So, Michael Myers says that the motor is ordered and should be in tomorrow(Wednesday). Never heard back on Wednesday, Thursday, nor Friday. We call Friday 6:08pm left message on VM for Brandon Myers (the son) and never heard back until Saturday at 1:40pm after I called AHS home warranty people 3 times, they spoke with Brandon who said he would call but never did until my 3rd call only to be told the motor didn't come in. Could not give me a timeframe and was not apologetic or helpful. Called AHS back and ask for a new AC company to deal with and they said not possible and that is not how the contract works, I could have the money from estimate and do it myself. Both fall short of deserving any business. By the way, found out that Myers was the company that fixed this same motor in 2010, maybe they are doing a crappy job or maybe the motor company has crappy motors.... either way the way Myers handles their business is truly unprofessional and I would not waste your time because they sure will!!! After looking online, the Myers Air Conditioning company has many bad reviews, I mean many under more than 14 sites. I suggest if you use American Home Shield you look up the company they suggest first before agreeing to have them come out, once the come you are stuck. Also make AHS explain everything in detail!!!

Very high price for a simple water heater repair. Total time spent to diagnose, give estimate and make repair was 25 min. Total cost was $225 to replace thermocouple (a $10 part). They did have to remove the lower part of the water heater to get to it but it still only took a few minutes to do. Gave two stars because they did do the job on the day it was requested. My mistake was approving the 'estimate' and paying before researching the issue. It was a rental house that we own and due to the time of day, would not have been able to get someone else to do the repair that day. Called to ask about high price the next day. The man I spoke to said that was the "going rate" and they charge "flat rates" and not labor plus parts. I told him that my internet research showed that they were charging almost double the rates I saw there. He told me I could call around and others may tell me a lower price just to get the call and they would probably charge me more when they got there. At a couple of points during the call he laughed and told me that they spend thousands in training and insurance and that is how business is run. I too, am a business owner and understand business costs, but he sounded unprofessional in the way he addressed my question. I told him that I had agreed to the "estimate" and paid the bill, and that I was just checking their rates for "future reference". So, for "future reference" this company is not on my "call back" list. I will call around now and check rates on this repair in case it happens again.

Earlier this week I had a plumbing emergency Myers able to provide me with same day service. If you have ever had a plumbing emergency then you know how much difference a day can make when it comes to getting the problem fixed. Not only was the plumber timely, he was also very professional and courteous. I will for sure use Myers for any future problems that I may have arise.

I called AHS (American Home Shield) at 9:25 on a freezing Saturday morning of a holiday weekend to inform them that my heating unit was not working. They put me on hold and contacted Brandon at Myers. Brandon stated that he would be out that afternoon and would call 30 minutes prior to arrival. I called periodically for the next 9 hours to no avail. When AHS was able to catch up with him he lied about telling me he was coming and wanted to charge me extra to come out the next day. I wonder is he the guy with the Myers A/C truck that lives across the street. God forgives liars, therefore so too must I.

The worst company ever! I had a lot of problems with a leak when I bought my home. AHS sent Myers out, myers claimed the leak was under the slab and therefore AHS wouldn't pay to fix it. I did some looking around and found the leak. It was from my sink!!! Second run in was a few days ago. Thursday my heater broke. It was 21 degrees! I called several times and left a msg with Myers. AHS also called and left msgs under their emergency line. Friday no answer, so I deciced to call them and leave a loud rude msg. Guess what..they called me right back! Just to say I need to get another company to do the work! The guy also said I was lied too by AHS, that they never called, he said I never called either! I am reporting this company to the BBB! They are very unproffesional, frauds and don't deserve to have a business. They will one day have to face God for judgement.

Myers AC/Heating, Montgomery, AL is the worst, untrusting, unreliable and inconsiderate company! I have stage iv lung cancer & relayed this to American Home Shield who was great & highly recommend! AHS & I also relayed this to Myers. Myers came at end of next day 4:30, tech was nice. Placed Freon in system and said that would last until they replace a coil. Well Freon never worked called AHS under health emergency and Myers NEVER returns calls or emails from AHS on emergency number. Next morning, I called Myers explained emergency; they stated they have to call in for authorization. Never did, I call AHS at 12NOON & Myers said they were calling it in as we speak. Checked back at 3PM never did and then they finally called late in day saying part not covered under manufacturers warranty and by code I needed flow switch $135, Reroute duct work $200 & clean up fee $75, not covered by AHS. My house only 4 years old, and being in law enforcement 25 plus years, knew this was fishy!! Called my builder, city inspector and three other A/C companies, found out part were under warranty and all other work not needed! Opted out from AHS and had to use another company!! Myers was lying and frauding AHS on charging for a manufactures warranty part and take advantage of me in bad health and financial strain!!!! I pray for Myers and That GOD deals with them justly!!! DO NOT USE MYERS!!!!

We had just moved into the our new rental home and noticed the A/C running poorly. Called AHS. Meyers scheduling was prompt. The technician was very nice. He advised that one of the thermostats needed replacing and that the condenser coils really needed cleaning. I paid the additional 70$ per unit cost to have this done. Fast forward 2 weeks later, the other thermostat isn't working properly. After 5 days of not responding to phone calls from either myself or AHS, AHS chose to switch companies. New company comes out replaces 2nd thermostat and advises that the condenser coils needed to be cleaned. When I told him that I had just had it done, he walked me out to the unit, pulled the cover off and showed me what clean condenser coils are supposed to look like. Meyers had hosed the outside of the units off and walked away calling them clean. Definitely would not recommend.

Reported on Sunday and now it is Thursday. After 5 days of reporting loss of AC we are still waiting repair. Crossing our fingers.

UPDATE: New unit installed on day 5. Techs did good work and were professional, even if service and communications between American Home Shield and Myers was slow.

i have had the worst experience with this unprofessional company. Our hot water heater wasn??t working so they came out to "fix" it. a couple days later our ceiling is leaking a lot!! we turn off the water to our home and have to wait next day for them to come out and look at it... it's fixed again however damage has been done. almost a week after our ceiling is caving in. the person whom they are contracted with to do their construction is rude and doesn??t care about the damage and will not come look at the damage until "it's dried completely" this has been the worst service ever! We have a 2 year old child in the home and the smell that the damage has left is almost unbearable. God forbid she learns how to open the door and the ceiling caves in on her.

We started using this company when we got a home warranty. Every time they came out they were very professional. Most of the time they had the parts, or could get them from the office. They always remember the other jobs they've done for you. It's always a nice touch.
