This is W.C. Handy's childhood home he was a famouse Blues/Jazz muscian. He was born on Nov 16, 1873 and during his life earned the title "father of the blues". It's a small cabin. It's inexpensive to visit and offers an excellent education of local History. If you are in town you should visit it and the Indian mound. Especially if you have children.
