5 Stars: Best time of my life! (by Jordan K.)

The best time of my life was spent at Winonah's Cosmetology School. I think it is a great place to learn. I have learned a lot about different hair types and textures of hair. We also do things outside of school that is educational. We have gone to three hair shows this year and have had guest stylists teach lessons. If I had a choice to go anywhere I wanted I would to go to Winonahs because of what I know now. I have made life long friends here. I know I can always count on Mrs. Bradley and the other students I met while going to school here to help me with all my hair issues! I graduate in 2 months and as much as I am ready to graduate and start making a living doing what I love I will miss going to school everyday.

5 Stars: Homewoods best kept secret (by Selena M.)

I got some wicked low lights and a haircut for like 50 bucks here. I am awesome. You cant beat that. I went there bc I spent $160 a few months ago at a place I will not name, and I hated my hair cut and I told the person what i wanted and they were rude to me! I got highlights that time and I looked like a dang calico kitty and I still had to pay. Anyway, I clearly had no money left and my mom told me to go to Winonah's bc of the price. A student did a much better job than that B* at the place I won't name! (it was on 280 near greystone) I guess I just want to say dont be timid to trust these girls. They know what they are doing.

5 Stars: Direction in life (by Sheri P.)

The girls (and boy) here are so fabulous and full of life! Passionate about hair and what they do. Sincere in their efforts to make people look and feel beautiful inside before realizing their outer beauty. Comfortable atmosphere and high fashion dreams make this salon ideal for all walks of life. I would recommend it to all my friends, boys and girls, their children and parents. I thought I had flat limp hair until I sat in my stylists chair. She did not try to rush me off, instead she spent time with me explaining how I could create the same look I desired at home. This is a great place to go to school at a much lower cost and it is way better than the competition. There are so many opportunities for additional classes and scholarships. The salon is a fraction of the cost and better than many established salons! Seriously! Check these girls out.
