Dillard's

Yesterday I was in the traditional sportswear section. I asked to try on a top. Two clerks were standing there talking to each other. (Another customer had also asked several minutes before me.) The clerk finally opened a dressing room after waiting on several other customers! After trying on the top, I wanted to purchase it. I went to the check out terminal and got out my wallet to pay. The same two clerks were there at the terminal and they BOTH walked off talking to each other and never acknowledged me at all. A third clerk came up about the same time. I guess she assumed that the other two had helped me so she too walked on through the terminal area and she also left!! I took the top to another terminal and purchased it even though I shouldn't. I wonder what clerks are for????

Great store with great sales & moderate regular pricing. Has something for everyone. I was afraid when it changed from Gayfers to Dillards that there would be a drastic change but I am pleased that there was not. Why shop at Wal Mart when you can pay the same & get a higher quality item? And did I mention the sales? I shop juniors because of my size & I rarely pay more than $8 for a shirt unless it is high, high end because they always have a great 75% off rack or two. And when they go an extra 33% off store wide, oh lala! Even if I do not want to wait for it to go on sale the prices are not bad. And it is where I can catch my coach bags on sale for cheap!
Customer service is always great with people always asking to help you & readily conversate when prompted to. And these girls know there fashion too! Never a hassle with returns. And you do not have to stand at line in the customer service department waiting to process a return, they can just do it at the department at which you purchased the item. That makes it a lot easier! A+!
Oh, don't forget to stop by & see Selina at the Lancome counter. She really helped me find a good concealer & base. I got free gifts too!

Dillards is one of the stores that have the most elegant stuff for men and women. the only problem that women with large sizes have not the same chance as small and petite. They should take care that not all the big sizes are old women but there is young women with 1X and 2X size and still they like to be elegant.

its a high class stor but the prices are high too, i like their home store but i thimk i'll never aford to buy any thing from them, also there evening dresses are nice and have all sizes even plus sizes but as i said i wait tell they are at least 50% off so i can buy them

I stopped in Dillard's to find some shoes for my son and to make a return. When I asked the clerk in the shoe dept for a shoe she didn't act like she even wanted to help me. Then I told her that I need to return some men's socks. She told me that I would have to take them back to the dept I purchased them in. I asked her if she was joking. She said no that they do that to keep people from stealing things. I said how could I have stole them since I have a receipt??? I picked up my screaming 1 1/2 year old son and had to carry him across the store to the men's dept to make the return. When I got there they told me that I should have been able to make the return in any department with the receipt. It was a total PAIN to shop at Dillard's.
