Rettig's Auto Body Shop

Terrible, terrible work. My car is a mess. After 2 1/2 mos and $11,000 + my paint job is completely messed up, grease all over the headliner, bolts missing (don't know why), they "say" they broke my windshield ($1500 ws) and put in $200 ws that I hate, screwed up my dashboard, etc. I could go on and on. Everyday I get in my car it is something else, honestly I'm waiting for the wheels to fall off or something. Fri. driving on the interstate @ 65mph something started banging on car. I thought someone was throwing rocks @ my car. Lo and behold the roof molding had come loose, hanging on my about and inch and was beating on the side of my car. Several weeks ago I called the owner to see if we could have a sit down to go over the issues I had with the repair work. He cut me off mid sentence and refused to do another thing to my car unless he got more $$ from my ins. He said he was in business to make money. He said I drive an old car and if I wanted a new car "Go buy one". I was speechless. My car WAS in showroom floor condition that is why my ins. com. did not total it!! My car is currently at another body shop that I sure wish I had knowledge of sooner, they have a lot of work ahead of them in fixing all the issues that my $11,000 + bought!! I am devastated to say the least.

I took my 2009 Toyota Camry in to get the bumper and spoiler repaired. Someone ran into the back of it and I only had it five days. It had a hole punched through the bumper. They said they would have to replace the whole bumper and spoiler. I asked them if they could do it quick as possible and I brought it to them on Thursday and picked it up on Friday afternoon. It was in perfect condition I was very pleased. I had brought it to Cockrell's before letting Rettigs repair it for an estimate and they actually wanted about $500.00 more. The bumper and spoiler look just like it did when I bought it. Thank you Rettigs!!

I took my car into Rettigs because my door had been hit. They said it would tak a couple of days and that it would be "good as new". It actually took almost a week and it's not good as new. The car had no wind noise before it was hit. After they "fixed" it you would hear a terrible whistling coming through the seal on the door because it was never aligned right. I took it back to them for realignment and a few days later was able to pick it up. Well, it still mad noise. ALOT of noise. I finally took it to another body shop and they realigned it correctly and now the noise is gone.

PROS: OK paint work.
CONS: Did not fix the noise problem.
