My 84 year old relative went to Dr. Murphy to have an eye apt. & waited for hours. When she explained to him how long she'd been there, he smartly told her he'd been at the clinic longer than she had that day. I am displeased at the doctor's bedside manner & do not recommend using him.

I have seen two different doctors at the clinic and they were great. Very polite and friendly, but the receptionist and optical staff are extremely rude. Never in my two yrs of going there have I ever received a smile or "have a nice day" from the receptionists. The last time I went to get new glasses, the woman helping me pick out glasses answered her personal cell phone twice and had conversations that lasted several minutes. She never even apologized for taking the calls. When leaving I asked the receptionist a question about contacts I ordered. In a very rude tone, she answered "you will have to wait" and then slammed the sliding glass door. The majority of rudeness has always been from one particular receptionist but I have never received a friendly shoulder from any of them. The office is very busy and a long wait is always to be expected. I usually sit in the waiting room for a hour or more. Then they move you from one room to another before seeing a doctor. They may benefit from more staff, especially for the overstressed, rude receptionists.

Dr. Lawrence of Russellville Eye Clinic is a great eye doctor. He is very gentle and will tell you what he is doing every step of the way. He is very professional and thorough. His staff is very professional and caring. He is semi-retired, so it is hard to get in to see him at times, but his professionalism makes it definitely worth the wait. He will see patients of any age.

Dr. Lawrence at the Russellville Eye Clinic is the best around. He and his patient staff work well with children and adults. They offer laser vision correction, glaucoma screening and treatment of eye diseases. Their prices are comparable to other eye doctors.
