They are a good honest shop, the likes of which you dont see much these days. I wish there were more places like this around that were honest and upfront like these guys. And they do good work too.

This was a great shop that a friend recommended and was close to my house. They did good work in a reasonable amount of time and a good price considering repair bills in the past. This is a good honest shop and Im glad to know there are still some around.

I priced tires at 3 different places and couldnt find anyone within 100 bucks of eads, wal-mart was 150 over and they wanted me to wait 3 hours. I went straight back to Eads and hardly had to wait at all. they installed the tires quickly and I was on my way.

I inquired about some P.M. (timing belt) at 8 am. That same day I made an appointment for 9 am. I drove away from the shop that same day at 5:30 pm. I couldn't ask for better service and the work they do is second to none. Thanks Terry, Bob, Doug, and Josh.

We've been working on our PT Cruiser for over a month. The thing was a real bear to work on and we had reached a point of just not having the knowledge to fix it ourselves anymore when an electrical problem came up. Eads quoted us a price for a diagnostic. Not only was it the cheapest quote around, but they were the only place that could get us an appointment that same day. We explained the issues we were having and they went to work. Within half an hour, the discovered the problem and resolved all our electrical issues. The added bonus was that they didn't charge us the amount the quoted, instead, they only charged us half of that. They are real honest guys that know what they are doing. Any other place could have charged us the full quote price for the diagnostic and not fixed the problem. Eads went above and beyond and we are grateful. We WILL be back and we will recommend our friends to them.

I would rather walk than depend on Eads to fix my vehicle. Terry Eads has been ripping people off for years in the Cabot area. For instance: He charges over $100 just to drop the oil pan and change the strainer on a transmission when changing the transmission fluid, a task that takes all of 15 min. My father in-law had some regular maintenance done on his vehicle and ended up getting charged for things that they never even did or were supposed to do.

Terry has totally lost touch with reality! My mom who is 75 years old and living in Cabot by herself, had a problem with her car. I have delt with Terry before and everything was good so i told her to go there since i don't live there anymore. Well he has changed his ways and is taking advantage of my mom. She basicly needed a spark plug wire and he charged her $732 bucks. He charged her for doing things that really didn't need to be done and told her that it had to be done. Over 5 dollars for 2.50 plugs, over 50 bucks for a wiring harness that there was nothing wrong with, it only needed a clips to hold the wires, new gaskets for a very small oil leak on the valve cover and cam shaft cover that he didn't even check the bolts to see if they were tight which is usually all it is, over $130 bucks for hooking it up to his machine to see what was wrong with it to start (all other shops will charge that full price if they tell you whats wrong with it and you don't let them do the work other wise they either don't charge or discount that price for letting them do the work), and what they are calling a "top engine service". It is all a huge rip off. I called other shops in Cabot and they price $300-350 for the same work EADS charged $732 for. I have bought tires from him before and he gave me a military discount and thats good good because Cabot is almost all military. Well now he tells me he doesn't give the military discount anymore and thats ok. I asked him why and he said well why should i give a discount to military guy and not to anyone else like a guy who just works at a store? So now that he has totally taken advantage of my mom and the fact that her car needed just a spark wire to fix what she went there for in the first place and instead he told her she needed alot more than that, i will no longer go to his shop. Terry i am sorry you feel like the military doesn't do anything for you but i assure you, we do. I have so much more to say about this but i will refrain. Make your own choice about doing business with him. I am so angry that he took advantage of the fact that my mom is 75, a female, no one there with her that knows anything about cars, and the fact that her car needed to be fixed. Beware of this shop. Check with other shops in town that will do the same work for a lot less!

I have used Eades Automotive for 6-7 years now and Terry and Josh and everyone else have been absolutely wonderful. I have always been impressed with how clean their dock is and how professional everyone is. They have done everything from tires to alignment to more complex problems on my vehicles. I always have valued their automotive advice also. And since I have only one vehicle, they have driven me home and picked me up on more than one occasion. How's that for service!

Eads automotive is a highly professional and highly ethical business. This past Memorial Day Weekend of 2010 I got stranded in another state because of a defective fuel pump. Even though Terry and his crew had installed the pump over a year and a half ago, he STILL honored the warranty on the pump. Terry was very patient talking to me over the phone and rather than telling me what he could not do, Terry SHOWED me what he COULD do. There are not many companies around these days who are that good when it comes to customer service but Eads Automotive sets the standard and the mark to hit. The "big guys" at Ford and General Motors could stand to use a few lessons from Terry Eads ! ---Marty E.??
