The clinic is disgusting. The nurses are rude, hateful, & uncaring. I called there once for some information, and was transferred FOURTEEN times before I was finally disconnected. I called again and again, and never got the information I needed. The receptionists do not care if you are sick. You will not be seen promptly; you may get in the next day if you are lucky. My parents used to take me to MH when I was young, but the GP I would see has since retired, and now that I have children of my own I take them to the clinic in Clarksville. Overall, the doctors I have seen at MH are adequate, but the experience there was absolutely horrible. I will never go there again or subject any family member to such ill treatment.

I had to change gynecologists due to the death of my previous doctor. A friend suggested Dr. Jody Calloway. I have never felt so at ease with a doctor and his staff as I did with Dr. Calloway and his nurses. These people are a true blessing for the community. I would recommend them to all my friends and family. I honestly don't dread my next annual visit. They took the time to talk to you and made you feel really comfortable.

This clinic won't see you when you need to see them. My daughter was really sick and in pain and had another doctor call in to request treatment. They denied her treatment that day...said tomorrow at 3:15. When you pain, that would be an eternity. They have no empathy for the people they treat. Her regular doctor or any doctor would not treat her. Some doctors had gone home. They told her to go to ER. She has a low rated insurance that only pays ER if you have a heart attack and that type of thing. I feel the doctors and receptionists need to realize that sometimes people need help then not the next day. She went home and cried and really suffered. I can only hope some day they will experience what pain is and not being able to be treated. Maybe Obama is right...change needs to happen in this health care facility.

I have been seeing Dr. James Smith at Millard-Henry Clinic for about 10 years. Dr. Smith is a great Dr. He always takes time to listen to you and works with you to take care of the problem. I have never had a better Dr. in my 56 years of life. May God bless him and his family.

Dr. Calloway and the nurses in his office are wonderful. They have always taken the time to hear what I'm saying and make me feel comfortable first and foremost. There is nothing creepy or false about their friendliness, they genuinely seem to care. I never thought I'd say this, but I don't dread my annual visit to the gynocologist anymore. Thank you all so much!

Dr. Calloway and his crew helped me fight my cervical cancer. He delivered both of my daughters and I've always had a pleasant visit there. Sure there may be a wait every-once and a while but if your going to the baby doctor they are probably in delivery. Anyway, the treatment was going to cost me a arm and a leg, so to speak, but Dr. Calloway is also a volunteer at another free clinic and so is his nurse. He recommended me to go to him there since i am a single mom of 2 @ 26yrs old and i had no cancer coverage. he's a god-sent! i mean who works a full time job, of more than 40hrs a week, I'm sure, and has time to volunteer and have time for their family! Milliard Henry Clinic is my family's clinic for sure.

I agree with the previous memo about Dr. Kevin Beaver's nurses. They are rude, hateful and definitely need reprimand by their superior. My family has changed Clinics due to the way we were treated by the nurses.
Millard Henry Clinic has been in the community for many years. The founders of the clinic have passed on. If they were alive today they would be very disappointed in the way the Administration is letting this rude behavior continue!

My daughter uses Dr. Escue, who is great. He is also my gyn. We are nice people who have good insurance. His nurse Shawna, is so hateful! She talks down to us and to other patients and other staff members. We are there often because my daughter is getting her prenatal care from Dr. Escue. The rest of the staff is great. It amazes me why Doctors allow their nurses to act in this manner. Because of this, my daughter will probably switch after the baby comes. I have already switched because of her hatefulness. As much as we like Dr. Escue, we have lost respect for him because of the way he lets his nurse act.

Dr.Kevin Beavers is a great doctor but his nurses are HATEFUL! I hate to ask them anything because of their rude manner. If they hate their jobs so much, why dont they look for new ones! The only time I have had a friendly nurse has been when there was a substitute and they usually came from another source[like part-time from the hospital}. Ive noticed a general "pissed off that they have to be there" attitude from a lot of the employees there. Its sad that you have to go through that kind of treatment to get to a competent, caring doctor.

after waiting 2 hours i was finally seen by Dr. Dunn who walked in the room asked me if I had cough and congestion and diagnosed me with a sinus infection. never looked in my ears or nose, didn't listen to my breathing or anything. wrote me a prescription for an allergy medicine and sent me on my way. i was with the doctor for 4 minutes total. the next day, i felt much worse and went to a different doctor who diagnosed me with bronchitis and pheumonia. i only go there when i have to!

A lab tech whose name is Valerie looks like indian (country), is the worst one I ever had. She couldn't inject my blood properly. she did push and pull 10 times to get half tube of blood. it was terrible and painful. its been a month and it still hurts me. she works at skyline drive branch.

Dr. Thomas and his staff have been wonderful to me. I recently lost my insurance and had no way to get my medicine, the ladies at the nurses station and front desk helped me find a way to get my meds and gave me some samples until my other medicine was available to me.
As for doctors, I know that when I found the right one I would stick with him forever. A few months ago I went to Dr. T and he spoke with me, yes really talked not just mumbled and wrote on the chart. He spent a good deal of time just getting to know me and he really seemed like he cared. Thank you for showing me that there are really people that are willing to take the time out of a busy day just to help someone. Angela Hulslander

Dr. Johnson is Incredible. And if it weren't for him, my family and I probably wouldn't be where we are today. I know that he is very busy, but his nurse must go! She has no manners at all, has hung up on my family and myself while trying to talk on the phone w/her, & when in for check-ups she is so rude and hateful and has made my mother even cry. There is absolutely "No excuse" for this.

PROS: Just be professional at work, there is no need for nurses to be hateful.
CONS: "Will it hurt for a nurse to smile once in a while?"

Overall, Millard Henry Clinic is okay. For some reason, it doesn't seem very clean. Some of the patient rooms seem old and outdated and just don't have that overall "clean" feel to them. Most of the time, the wait time is very long. The pediatric department doctors are very nice; especially Dr. Pilkington, but I have never had any luck with any of the 'regular' doctors. The new OBGYN building is very nice and updated, but overall, their regular offices are dirty feeling.

PROS: doctors are nice
CONS: not very clean, old and outdated

Millard Henry Clinic has been a part of our lives for 11 yrs now. There has always been great doc's there but its always an extremely long wait to get to see the Dr's. I wish their scheduling would improve.

PROS: In house lab and x-rays are available to help speed things up.
CONS: The waiting room lines are long

Our experiences with the doctors and nurses at Millard Henry Clinic have always been good except on Saturdays. They don't take appointments for Saturdays but make you come in and just wait in line if you have an emergency. The wait on a Saturday can be extremely long. It would be much better if they let you call and would say that the wait would be 3 hours and put your name on the list. Instead you have to take your sick child up there and then wait the 3 hours. Other than the issues with Saturdays I have never had a negative experience with the staff or their services.

PROS: good care
CONS: extremely long wait times on Saturdays
