in one word SPECTACULAR!! My husband and i just moved out to Cabot and were not aware that there was a theatre in town so we were going to little rock. Once we found out about the Silver Screen we quickly went and watched The lady in black. There is no reason that if you live in cabot or any nearby area for you to drive to little rock. This movie theatre is the highest quality for the best price. the staff was nice. the popcorn was amazing. The picture and sound quality is just what you would find at the rave so you are not missing out on quality. Out of simple curiousity we asked one of the workers if they used film or digital. apparently they have just installed all new digital projectors. This is a terrific theatre.

This movie theater is the worst movie theater I have ever been to. I bought tickets to see the movie "The Devil Inside" 30 minutes before it started. Upon walking into the theater I noticed that the seats were full. There was not a single seat open. I asked the manager if I could swap my ticket out for the later showing. She said they did not refund or exchange tickets and if I wanted to see the later movie, I would have to purchase another ticket. I mentioned to her that it was not my fault the theater was full and that I had arrived in plenty of time to get a seat. She replied by saying they do not sell more tickets than there are seats for. I then proceeded to explain to her that sometimes kids purchase tickets to a PG movie and sneak into rated R movies that their parents won't let them see. She then told me I was welcome to call customer service and then walked away. This theater is over priced and isn't even that nice of a theater. The management is very rude and obviously uneducated and they know no meaning of "the customer is always right." I will drive to Little Rock from now on where businesses know that customer satisfaction is the most important.

The Silver Screen is a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon with your kids. Since there isn't a lot of entertainment choices in Cabot for families to spend together, Silver Screen is great. They have eight screens now so there's sure to be a film there that everyone will love. They also have digital sound and 3D movies, so the quality is great and the kids really enjoy 3D movies.

Silver Screen keeps getting better each time I go see a movie there. Last summer I thought the new seats and new 3D movies were pretty awesome but over Christmas break I went there to find out they have recently added on two more auditoriums so now there is even more variety about what movies you can see. The new auditoriums are stadium seating also so that's another plus.

I have lived in small towns around the mid south all my life. Most of them were about the size of Cabot but none of them had theaters the quality of Silver Screen. It's hard to believe that you can see a 3D movie on the big screen in a high-back comfortable chair without leaving the small town of Cabot.

This theater sucks. I am in the military and have been all over the US and Korea. Cabot silver screen is the worst theater I have seen in any country. They are ridiculously expensive and offer little to no customer service. To be honest if i was an employee, manager or owner I would be embarrassed to call it my place of employment. I can't wait till someone else opens a theater and this one goes out of business. For a hometown theater this one is sorry.

I have lived in Cabot all my life, but have never been to the local "Silver Screen" theater because I am more into the big city experience of theaters. I like flashy special effects, in your face 3D, so I always went to the Rave or Chenal 9 in Little Rock. But recently I had read in the newspaper that Silver Screen had upgraded to top of the line 3D projecters, completely remodeled the theaters with high back chairs and stadium seating so I decided to give it a shot. The positives: tickets are cheaper, concession is cheaper, the 3D quality is just as good if not better, you don't have to deal with all the teenage punks that have nothing better to do with their lives and their parents don't care so they hang out at the rave all hours of the night. The negatives: you miss out on all the "sight seeing" you experience when driving all the way to Little Rock everytime you want to see a digital 3D movie. So bottom line, if you want the same great quality of The Rave or Chenal 9, but don't want to pay 15 dollars for a ticket plus gas money, Silver Screen is the only way to go.

I met the new manager, he is 71 years old and pretty nice. I like the new seats in all of the rooms. They rock and have cup holders. I live in Beebe and this cinema is close to my house. I've been going since it opened. They added two new screens with stadium seating a couple years ago which was a good change. I watched Toy Story 3 in 3D last night. I like the 3D and they have two 3D screens. The manager, I think he said his name was Jack, said they are building four more screens and construction starts in July. He says they will be stadium seating with digital projection and 3D. He said they would be open by November. 10 screens in Cabot will be good. I don't know, maybe it's cause I'm 44, but I like going to the Cabot cinema.

Plain and simple the theater sucks. Would love to spend my money locally, but the whole experience is horrible. I would agree with all of the other reviews. There is always something wrong at the start of a movie...lights on, no sound, picture messed up. Maybe someone else will open up another theater in town.

I've lived in Cabot for quite a while, the Silver Screen Theater is the only theater in our nice little city. Most would think that being the only theater in town the staff would try to keep up a high standard of quality, however, this is NOT true what so ever. Customer 'service' is non existent, instead They are rude and do NOT care a bit about your experience, the kindest person working there will likely be the Cabot Police officer having to take tickets that night. The theater is dirty, infact, the floors are sticky in both the lobby and theatres, there is often a foul or stale smell about the entire place, and if you look too closely at the floors in the theater rooms you may loose the appitite you had for your overpriced snacks. The theater does not accept any form of card, instead you're directed to the 'convienient' fee ridden ATM. The movies more often than not start late and seem like they are being shown on a projector from the 80's with many hair-like lines on the screen. If you don't have the option of, or simply don't want to drive to another (and probably far off theater) then by all means visit the Cabot Silver Screen Theater. If you don't just have to go this establishment, then, I'd suggest heading out of town or renting a DVD, now even some fast food restaraunts rent them, and with much better service without even trying! It is obvious the theater's new management is taking advantage of being the only theater in town in the WRONG way.

I have lived in Cabot for the-last ten years an watched sadly as the old management left and new management cam in. So I believe I have a pretty well-rounded opinion of what was and what is now. I remember how nice it used to be to go in and say hi to the manager and have warm popcorn in a clean theater. I was there the first weekend it had changed hands with the new manager. I will always remember an elderly lady asking the girls at the counter for a small popcorn and getting treated rudely. She was pressured into getting a medium (that was the only small size they offered) and then the usual for a quarter more you can get a large size drink. I was so embarrassed. I understand how the prices of things go up. I have gone to the Rave and Lakewood. I would much rather give my money to a local business, but they have to help our experience be better than those . For instance when my husband and I went to see the Watchmen...everyone in the theater had to miss part of the beginning because they failed to notice the film was messed up in the projector. Several people went to talk to the manager (including husband) and were promptly told by him that there wasn't anything he could do and we didn't miss anything anyway. What a heel! Oh, and the house lights stayed on for 15 minutes after the movie started. I guess the manager is used to everyone being mad because when we all got through with the movie there was a police officer taking tickets.IT JUST TAKES AWAY FROM THE TOTAL EXPERIENCE having to deal with this ridiculous stuff.

This used to be a good theater but came under new ownership a few years ago and is now run down and ridiculous. I have watched the first 30 minutes of a movie there with the house lights on. They don't accept credit cards but guess what, they have an ATM in the lobby so you can pay them fees and then pay for your ticket. Drove 20 miles to get there for $4 family night only to find out that it only applies to movies that have been out for two weeks. That would have been a nice fact to put on the website.

Don??t go! Don??t support these crooked people. I ran into another problem this weekend at the theater. The manager there could not help us resolve the problem so the manager said that we could call the owner to see if he could help us out. When I called all he did was yell and cuss at me I couldn??t even explain myself I had to hang up. Where??s the customer service? I hung up the phone and thought how much money I funneled into this place and you couldn??t even make right $12.00 movie tickets! I was in shock especially after dealing with Clint Miller the previous owner. He was always concerned about the customer. The theater has continuously gone down since he sold. The movies are late, food is overpriced, horrible customer service and dirty.

The Silver Screen is the only theater within several miles. The movies often do not start on time. We once had to wait 45 minutes for our movie to begin. Free popcorn nights are nice, especially if you smuggle in your own drinks!

Silver Screen Theatre is a small theater in Cabot offering first-run movies. The theater typically shows 5 movies at any given time. The theater is always clean, and the business offers the typical refreshment fare, at the typical prices. If you don't want to travel far to see a movie, Silver Screen is great for you, but you may find a more enjoyable outing at one of the other larger facilities in the area. One downfall of this business is that you need to know where the theater is to find it, as there are absolutely no signs on the road offering direction.

On Thursay's if you bring your own bowl, you get free popcorn which is neat. Tuesday's are family nights so the admission is only $3. The seats are very comfortable and their is ample enough seating in each theater. It has stadium seating, so you can get a good shot of the screen no matter where you are seated. There is also plenty of places to park.

PROS: Family Night Tuesdays, Free Popcorn Thursdays

Family night which is tuesday , all movie are $3.00 pretty darn nice. BUT the prices of popcorn are outragous. Plus, one time it made my whole family sick. It's a okay place to go to if you don't want to drive to the "RAVE" in L.R
