The doctors at Central Arkansas Pediatrics are awesome. They really take time to see each patient without rushing. The nurses and nurse practioners there are also competent and caring. The problems with this clinic come in scheduling. They often do not have appointments when they are needed. They do not set up appointments more than a month or so in advance, so you can't set up an appointment for your next well child check-up as you leave. Also, they don't send reminder cards to remind you to call and make an appointment. They will call to remind you of a previously made appointment. Also, the wait to see a doctor is a little too much for a child to handle.

I love this clinic and all the doctors and APNs. I have been with this clinic since my son was born in October of 2001. I would highly recomend this pediactric clinic to anyone with children. I am actually surprised to read the review stating that they refuse to see Dr. Craig. I took both of my kids to see him today actually, and he was as always just as friendly and helpful as he always is. My kids love him and the others. When I call to make an appointment we take whoever they give us, because I have had no trouble in the past six years from any of them.

I took my daughter in this clinic for the first time several weeks ago. We recently moved to Conway, so it was time to find a new doctor! When we arrived there the office staff was friendly and prompt. Without hardly any waiting time at all, we were called back to see Donnie Kulbeth, which is the nurse practitioner there. He is wonderful!!! He didn't rush us in and out and sat and discussed EVERYTHING and gave us detailed information about what medications and how to use them. He is the best!

PROS: WONDERFUL, NO WAIT TIME!!
CONS: NONE

We will not schedule an appt. with Dr. Craig. We've been using this office for 6 years, and every time that we have seen him he has been rude and condescending. He talks down to you, and we refuse to see him. I know of many other families that will not see him either. I LOVE the APN's and Dr. Champlin. If it weren't for them, we would switch clinics.

I also recent changed my child's PCP to doctor Craig. They saw my child the same day I called for the appt. The doctor did not rush the visit in any way and answered all of my questions. He even sent my child to an eye specialist for a problem I had been told not to worry about by his old pediatric doctor. The staff as well as the doctors and APN that I have meet at the clinic were great and I would definitely recommend them to anyone. They really care about their patients. There are times you may have to wait a little but just keep in mind that they will take just as much time if not more with your child as the did with the one before.
