I have been going here for about five years now since I first went online in 2004. They have always been helpful with routine virus checks but just today I called about some heavy duty damage my current system suffered and was met with a side of the store I have never known. First, they broke to me that I had lost everything. Fine. But then he start telling me that they're transferring my software to a 'bare bones' model that will cost about $300. When I tell Mr. Louis politely that I do not want he starts yelling at me to come pick up my computer while throwing it in my face that my mother board is no longer operational. Your Hometown Computer Store is a great place but don't rile them up or they will go completely berserk on you. Needless to say I am never going to back to Your Hometown Computer Store again. Poor Mr. Louis, does he not realize his store is probably going to close down in a year anyway. No need to drag his customers into his sorrow too.
