Brought my BMW into their shop for repairs on a window switch. Two months later I decided to check something under the hood, and noticed that the hood release handle was broken off. No one had touched that handle except this shop. When I called today to tell them what I discovered, they explained that they "wrote this up" when I dropped off the car. First of all, this handle was not broken when I dropped it off, as I am extremely particular of this BMW, and know every inch of the car. The handle was broken off by the shop, as they pulled on it too hard, and then covered their tracks buy saying they "wrote it up." Whatever. To make it worse, they said the handle could be fixed for about $170. A lot of money for them to fix what "they" carelessly broke. To top it all off, I found the plastic part online for $17.00 with shipping (see photo), and it takes one simple screw to attach. Yet they wanted to charge $170. So, for an investment of less than $20, they lost a customer for life, that owns several BMW's. My advise before using this company; shop prices first, and then take photos of every part of your car.

German Auto has kept my two German vehicles, both with over 100,000 miles, running perfectly. I am pleased to know there is a reputable and reliable service center outside of the dealerships in town. German Auto is always my first recommendation when someone with a German car moves to town.

I have been a customer for years and they do a super job. I can heartily endorse them. Benzes are very expensive to repair anyway and they actually charge less than the dealers. They have no control over parts pricing and try to save you money while doing a quality job.

This company does a good job fixing german vehicles. Now the prices can be a little pricey but it is worth it and they do a good job in a timely matter. They are nice and helpful and will help you understand everything that needs to be done. They are friendly and helpful and usually are not busy. Conviently located near heart of Phoenix downtown area.
