Dirtbags

Ill admit dirt bags is not the most attractive of names but it obviously attracts the kids in the neighborhood. Its a local bar where everyone hangs out and drinks.

Dirtbags is full of the U of A set. Ditzy blondes and steriod abusing jocks. If it was not for the music all you would here is "Oh, my god', 'My daddy gave me a bently' and so on. Give it a miss unless you really want to be subjected to this. The barstaff are rude too.

For anyone whos anyone at Arizona, this is the place to be seen. If you like standing in long lines, dealing with sphincter bartenders, buying pricy drink, dealing with crazy crowds and bouncers who take your ID when your 23 then this place is awesome!! Ill admit its cool when you first turn 21 because it is hard on IDs, but the novelty of hanging out with seniors and your TA soon wears off. I lived across the alley from Dirtbags for a year and its awesome in the day or when its not crowded, but once it starts filling up it sucks. The crowd is pretty much the people in the greek system and the athletes. Every dude there thinks he is the sickest and wont hesitate to say whats up bro?! if you scuff their Gucci shoes or bump their Von Dutch hat. Be warned that they do not tolerate drunk behavior. My friend was banned for life for having fun. However, it is fun to go early before basketball games or football games. Oh yea, and it reeks like butt. Enjoy!

PROS: Serve relatively cheep pitchers. Have a patio, good lunch food.
CONS: Bartenders and bouncers act like its the sickest club in the world
