Arizona Animal Welfare League

This is an absolutely wonderful organization. They are a no-kill shelter. So basically all of the animals will stay here until they find a home. They have an adoption process where they interview you, so it is not like they just hand you over a pet when you want one. They need to make sure that you will provide a good home for the pet. It is a really nice complex, so the animals are well taken care of during their stay here. You can also sign up for classes on training your pets that run for several weeks. They also have one-on-one training where you can get a trainer to help you in the privacy of your own home. I have taken the classes, and they were useful and fun.

I used this group for pet training, they were very kind to the animals- I was very impressed with all the experience that the trainers had.

I was given lots of tips that I could use in between classes- I could really see how my dog was learning from week to week-

they have classes for puppies all the way to older dogs- as they say- even older dogs can learn new tricks

Arizona Animal Welfare is a good place to find an animal to adopt. They take in homeless and unwanted animals and try to find them a good home. I go here occasionally looking and they always have a nice selection and they appear to take really good care of the pets in here. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a new animal to adopt from here. The people who work here are very friendly and truely show and interest in the well being of the animals here.

The Arizona Animal Welfare Laegue is a great place to find a new pet for your family. I adopted a puppy from here in January and my puppy is great! They interview the adoptive families to ensure the pets are going to good homes. Please rescue a pet for your very own!
