AVOID THE HASSLE...STAY AWAY FROM MOR!
by Jamie H.
My husband and I had bought a sectional couch from the Tempe store about a year ago. About a week before the warranty was up a few of the cushions started to sink, so we called the service center. They said they would come and pick up the couch (one piece at a time) and have them fixed. At first we were told it would take a few days per piece. It took a week per piece and each time they brought a piece back either another part would be sinking or the same part would be making noise. We called and they told us we could have a new couch (either the same one or a different style) with a one year warranty. We decided to stick with the same couch and called to have them deliver it, but when we did they told us that they couldn't replace it with a warranty and tried to tell us that it was out of warranty. Every time we had to call these people we got a different story or we would be told something and they would call back and tell us that they weren't able to do what they said 5 minutes ago on the phone. The final call they told us that we could get a new couch with a warranty if we went to the store and picked out a different style. So we drove all the way over there (about a 20 minute drive) just to find out that they weren't going to give us anything with a warranty and our only option was to get it replaced with the same style. I'm very disappointed that we were treated so badly (our original experience with them-when we bought the couch- was great). Apparently they only treat you with respect when you are spending money, but if there is any problem then you get treated like you're and idiot not worth their time. I will never step a foot in Mor Furniture for Less ever again.

Junk furniture for more
by Jackie H.
We purchased a 9 piece dining room set, which included table, 2 arm chairs, 4 regular chairs, 2 piecec glass hutch. This furniture was purchased in November 2008, and fell apart on week after we got it.....table had to have trim glued, arms chairs fell apart, finish on most of the pieces have bubbled.
We will be taking in whole set for repairs. Would like to find someone to buy all the whole set cheap. Nothing but junk, quality does not justify the price that was paid. Will never shop there again......

Never going back to MOR!
by Phoenix R.
I purchased a Sectional w/ Ottoman. The Sales Rep said that the Sectional is reversible (since he knew we want reversible one) and that was a deciding factor for us. We went for the 5 pm to midnight delivery on a Wednesday. The furniture came in at 11.30 pm ONLY to find that they brought the WRONG piece of the Sectional that we ordered. We reschedule delivery for the NEXT day during Regular Business Hours (taking half a day off). They came in at 2 pm AND GOT THE WRONG PIECE OF THE SECTIONAL, YET AGAIN!!!! We went to the store today, and also got to know that the Sectional they said is Reversible is NOT REVERSIBLE.They don't believe in customer service and apologising to the customer for bad, horrible service. We ended up canceling the order today and will NEVER go to this store again!!

Get it at Mors!!

We puchased a nice bedroom set for the house that we are now in. Actually it is too much for the present bedroom, but we planned for it to go with us into our new house. Really good wood quality. Heavy and very stylish looking. We often see same kinds of style in magazines, on television and in other stores. Our/your only concern should be, who will help your mate move it out or around. Not only are we satisfied with it, we are proud to own and show it off such a set of furniture.
Thanks,

The Mor furniture showroom was big with a lot of selections. The sales person was helpful and we found a 3 pc sofa set that we liked. However, we were promised a 6 week delivery time. After 11 weeks, we were told it may be another 4 weeks, so we called to cancel but were told we had to come to the store to cancel. We braced ourselves and went to the store but fortunately the cancellation process was quick (about 15 minutes). We probably won't go back since there is no knowing when you would actually get the furniture that you buy.

Mor Furniture for Less offers middle-quality funiture at good prices. If you need a piece that won't be used to often, like a formal dining room table or a decorative piece, Mor offers a good selection. I wouldn't buy anything there that requires heavy use... the quality won't stand up over time.

I think Mor's is a part of a national chain
of furniture stores. No matter, they have
great furniture sales a couple of times
a year. Also a section of pieces that
have a little scratch or reject on them.
You can find some good buys.
