Dr. Westover is the best vet I have ever had the privilege of working with. We having been taking out many canines and felines there for the past 21 years. He has always been professional and personal with su and the animals. He always knows the latest research and changes his approach with what is coming out. We trust him completely and he always explains what is being done and why, and he is very truthful an telling us if we are handling the animals correctly. He has had other good vets but we always want him. He is very good at helping an animal cross over and there for the humans. He is very good with home visits, and his prices are below others. Can't say enough good things about him/.

Dr. Westover is an extraordinary professional. Knowledgeable, caring, personable and with a great sense of humor, he _is_ the man you want caring for and treating your animals - be they big or small. Frankly, if it wasn't illegal for him to do, I'd ask him to be my doctor. No kidding. (Although I suppose some of the needles would be a bit large...)

He always takes time to talk with you and yet focuses on your animal(s). He knows what's best for them. He respects them. He has an incredible knowledge of veterinary medicine.

He is responsive - meeting him at the clinic after hours is something he does routinely. The guy just cares a great deal about his work, the animals he cares for -- and the people those animals love.

And if and when it comes time to put an animal down he's some sort of angel. Hard to explain. He's just "there" for your pet and for you.

Dr. Westover has been the vet for our ranch for 16 years. His care of our horses and dogs has been absolutely wonderful. He actually has saved at least one of our endurance horses who collicked after an endurance event. He recently volunteered helping our community during the Schultz fire last week. We had horses that needed to be evacuated after we couldn't get them out. Dr. Westover, the Coconino County Search & Rescue Team, Sheriff Bill Rackley and all volunteers that helped, we thank you very very very much for gettinig our horses out. You're the greatest.

Without Dr. Westover, my dog would be dead, and that's no overstatement. Jack is a poodle mix with severe food allergies, but only Dr. Westover was able to figure out the problem and find a solution. He is also the only vet my dog actually likes, and that says a lot to me. The office staff is caring and professional, and we always have a good visit.

After carefully checking for a new veterinarian in Flagstaff, I am very pleased to find Dr. Conley. My first appointment revealed that he has excellent, up-to-date knowledge about complex medical issues, spent a great deal of time with me and my dog, and was very amiable. I thought the office charge was extremely reasonable. I do wish they were AHA certified but this is a fairly small town. Dr. Conley is concerned about providing good care and sends out an extensive questionnaire to his clients asking for suggestions.

Conley Westover brought my cat back to life when she was all but dead of overdose of Metacam by another vet. A year later I had to have her euthanized because she had kidney failure and cancer (she was 15 years old). They didn't charge me for the euthanization, they said because I was an old client. Dr. Westover was kind at the same time he was professional.
Another reviewer mentioned "at least 14 vets quit" and mentioned "money grabbers" without explaining what he meant. I have indeed noticed a high turnover in vets but have no idea why. The clinic is pricey but they all are these days. Another vet I was using charged much more. So these are open questions to ponder. My own experience was great.

I have been taking my animals to Aspen Vet Clinic for over 15 years. Dr. Westover and his staff are personable, caring and extremely professional. My animals have always been treated in a clean & healthy environment. Dr. Westover provides the best preventive / therapeutic services in Northern Arizona. Every treatment option is explained in detail as well as the cost for care. I have never worried about my animals while they were in his care. He is an outstanding Vet!

Dr. Conley Westover at Aspen Veterinary Clinic was my vet for 24 years. I would not use anyone else, and Dr. Westover would still be my vet except I moved out of state. In all those years he worked on our dogs, cats and alpacas and he was always completely professional, he knows what he is doing, and he cares. I refused to use any of the other vets that entered the practice - usually they were younger vets looking for experience but no matter how good they were, Dr. Westover was the best. I would recommend this clinic and this vet to anyone.

no one wants to work there . money grabber. down to the first and last doctor. at least 14 good vets quit. They worked there for 1 year to 6 months before decided to quit. they knew that there was corruption there and chose to quit. look up the history. but keep your dog at home or find another that is truly qualified and caring

I had a dog since I was 6 years old that I brought up to Flagstaff when I moved up here and since she was getting old she was starting to have some problems. This veterinary clinic was so caring and willing to help with everything and anything I needed without trying to get every dime out of me. When my dog passed away, I took her there to be held until a company from Sedona came and got her to be cremated. They sent me a card for my loss and now that I have a new dog I would gladly take her there as well.

PROS: hospitality, professional
CONS: none
