Learning Blocks Child Dvlpmnt

I took my son to this daycare when he was 2. The rooms always stunk, and i too had billing problems. I thought they were ok and always thought my son screaming was just normal leaving mommy anxiety. I was sooo wrong! At home my son was potty trained, when dropping him off the management would always give me a hard time saying he was no where near potty trained there. Then one day i dropped him off at 930am. When i came back for my son at 630, they did the usual change before he leaves, i noticed he was in the diaper i dropped him off at. I used a different brand then them and they had never changed brands in the year i had taken my son! He had leaked through his pants and when i started freaking out about it the girl said she just got there and was never told to change him!!! Do you need to be told when his pants are soaking in urine!?!?! The next day i called managers. They were beyond rude and told me if i had potty trained him this wouldn't have happened! I went in a few days later to pick up the 2 packs of underwear and extra clothes i had left there, no one could find them! I demanded a return since they didn't even take care of my son that day and i got laughed at! my son is now 6 and to this day when we drive by or go in the shopping center he starts to cry and begs me not to take him there! Please please please do not traumatize you child! There are other day cares open till midnight!

i experience is that i had trouble looking and deciding what child care to go to when i called learning blocks and scheduled a walk through and i have noticed that they have kept the one year room clean and when it smells they try to make it smell better, but in the two year old its like a little ants walking and running and teachers aren't paying attention to the kids. i have seen that the three year to older kids are far more organized than the two year old class. But its a work in progress I GUESS!!!! the manager of the learning blocks is sweet and nice so is all the management. well i guess it depends on where you feel more comfortable with your child. But the learning blocks seem to be suitable to me. the curriculum is great there and my kid is learning her numbers and colors and other things that are fun even singing. My kid likes it there. i would say that the learning blocks a warm and friendly place

I personally loved this day care. The teachers were always nice and polite and my baby girl was so happy there. The rooms are decorated in the nicest themes for the children, and they provide diapers also, which i loved! I really regret having to take my child out when i moved, but i would definitely recommend this day care! As to the "stinking rooms" and " uneducated employees" i dissagree. Occassionally, yes the baby rooms will stink a little bit, but come on! If you put 20 one year olds in a room, some are gonna poop! get over it! And the techers always sent home colorful art projects, i was very pleased

I took my kids to this daycare and it was ok, I liked that they provided the diapers and claimed that you did not have to pay for the days your kids did not attend. However they have their billing all messed up. I constantly felt like I was paying over and over for days that I already paid for. I kept asking to check my balance and their computers were always screwed up. When I left the daycare, I only owed for two days. They sent me a bill for 277$ I refused to pay, I tried to talk to them but their books are all messed up and they will not show any proof. So they sent me to collections. I have written to the collection agency to dispute but it is still on my record. I guess I will have to pay for something I did not owe for if I want it off my credit report. Watch out-they will scam you for all your money!!!
The other people were right, it always stunk and the kids would be acting crazy while the teachers just watched.

I wasnt to happy about sending my daughter here because when we went to check it out it smelled awful! But because they were open until midnight and my husband and i both work nights sometimes we had to send her there. It wasnt worth it!!! She was ALWAYS getting sick, the place seemed dirty and smelled awful. I always wanted to see how she liked the daycare when i picked her up but every time i went there the lady at the desksaw me coming and from outside and called her classroom to get her ready. considering how i already felt about the daycare this really concerned me because i felt like they were hiding something. they would not let me see inside her classroom without giving the teachers warning that i was coming. One busy day when i managed to sneak past the front desk and into her classroom I found all the teachers sitting on the floor ignoring ALL the kids running around. She was in the one year old room then and i noticed kids were ALWAYS getting bit. she also came home on 2 occasions with bruises that the staff could not explain! Another time i picked her up the teacher wanted to change her before we left (makes me think she hadnt been changed in some time) and changed her on a counter top (where they change all the babies) without washing her hands Or wiping off the counter top before OR after the change. I used to be a pre school teacher and have learned that that is unacceptable!!! One time i picked her up during lunch time and I was disgusted!!! The teacher surprisengy wear gloves to feed the kids.........okay so they got that right but i saw one of them feed 2 different kids with the same spoon, another used her hands to push food food up from the kids chin into their mouths and she did this to all of the kids she was feeding without cleaning her hands in between, and then i saw one of the drop the lid of one of the kids bottles on the floor and accidently step on it then she just picked it back up and put it back on the bottle and gave it to the baby!!! no wonder my daughter was getting sick all the time. I cant believe sombody gave this place 5 stars and really think it must be the owner or a employee since I truly believe it should be shut down! IF YOU CARE FOR YOUR KIDS DO NOT EXPOSE THEM TO THIS AWFUL PLACE

This was our last resort, due to our work & school hrs! It started off okay & went down hill!! They don't watch your children!!! My child is 2 years old and he as been bit 5 times in 8 months! The excuse is always "Your child took a toy away from the other kid and the kid bit him!!" well-if you saw what happened why weren't you able to stop it at least 1 out of 5 times!!! He has had horrible diaper rashes! They do not have a changing table-it is a counter top with a metal rail, no cushion, padding not even paper!! So they are laying on a cold counter top!! It smells terrible-almost like a dirty pet store! They constantly screw up their payment log! Thank goodness I keep track of all of my receipts! And this tops it off!!!!! I picked my child up one evening and smelled what I thought was a dirty diaper....NOPE! The last person that changed him an HOUR!!! before that put his pants back on him with POOP still in the crotch!! YEP! It was the very first thing I noticed when I pulled his pants down to change him!! I'm glad I didn't wait til I got home!!! I was livid!!!
The employees and management are very rude and ignorant. I called them to discuss some issues and concerns about my child's care and safety-the response I rec'd was, "Well, if you decide to withdrawal your child, just make sure you give a written 2 week notice!"
So, PLEASE!!! Don't leave your child here!! I made a horrible mistake and completely regret it!!

Just want to recommend Learning Blocks Child Development Center to anyone looking for a warm, friendly, cost efficient child care center. My children have been attending learning blocks for the past 9 years. They have shown my children and family love and respect like no other. My children went onto school and have excelled since their first days of kindergarten ( their elementary school teachers asked if they had attended preschool I said No they attended Learning Blocks. There teachers were impressed). The amount of love my children have received from the staff all these years is PRICELESS. We are very sad to be moving away to another state but if this is the last THANK YOU I can give it is beyond deserved!!!! Thank you Learning Blocks Staff

Greed is what is running this so called child care. I should have known when I first went there. The environment was not warm, clean nor child friendly. The daycare looked like an institution imitated to look child friendly. I remember walking in one day and I saw a baby being changed on a hard table. I was like do they do this with my children? I do not recommend this place. Go somewhere else because your children will not be taken care of properly because there ae too many children running around, and you will be overbilled for no reason, and your children will get diaper rashes. DO NOT take your children here.

One of the Worst Day cares Ive ever seen! I will NEVER subject my child to this facility AGAIN, and NEITHER SHOULD ANY PARENT! Just from the week I encountered...Rude owners, terrible customer service, Uneducated employees, its Filthy, Smells of urine, Mistreat children, THE LIST GOES ON! I had a friend who worked there and said it was worse behind the scenes then anyone could believe. AND THE WORST PART THEY ARE EXPANDING! BEWARE!!!!

PROS: ABSOLUTLY NONE
CONS: EVERYHTING AND MORE

When you walk in, the place seems bright and vibrant and somewhere a child would love to go. I worked in this shopping center and can remember when their day care van was being taken at night by a former employee and used all night then returned before anyone arrived the next morning. They couldn't figure out for a while who was siphoning the gas until realizing the miles on the odometer were also increasing. I figured if this was being missed then it probably wasn't the place to leave my most precious belongings. Things may have changed and they could be under new management, but it was recent enough to leave a question in my mind.

PROS: Vibrant, bright
CONS: Mismanagement
