This is by far the best food I ever ate- I kid you not! The portions are massive and the food is absolutely awesome. The pies are amazing. I do agree with the previous reviewer- this place is way better for dinner than breakfast. This little place is truly a gem.

After a day of sightseeing at the Grand Canyon, we left the train and walked over to the Pine Country Restaurant. Excellent food! It was just like home cooking. We also went back in the morning for breakfast... although, it didn't seem quite the same. So, I would definitely recommend this restaurant for dinner.

We discovered this wonderful restaurant recently on a trip we took to the south rim of the Grand Canyon. When wandering through town we happened upon this wonderful restaurant. It is open, airy and bright, probably because of the light pine paneling and all the windows, but the food was great (unique breakfast items) and the pies are amazing. When ordering a slice of pie, you had better be hungry. Most are about 5 to 6" in height and the slices are huge. The pies are made from scratch daily and you have to check on what flavors are available each day, but it is very much worth the trip. They also had art on display and for sale by local artists, and they were very, very nice.
