It was brought to our attention that you accused our company of writing a negative review, which is totally false! We read the review and although we had nothing to do with writing it, we did take Suzanne for a balloon ride and appreciate her comments. We also concur with her that your website is full of totally false remarks regarding the other balloon companies in Tucson "in order to attempt to gain a competitive edge", which, to quote you, "is immoral, unethical and just plain unprofessional". We choose not to fly your flight path, not because we are not allowed to (as you state), but because after many years of flying both your flight path and over the Tucson Mountains we think our flight, which takes us 10-18 miles each trip and allows us to see lots of wildlife & beautiful panoramic views - see the video of our flight on our website - is the more spectacular flight....as do our passengers!

WOW. Shameful to say the least.
It's a really sad day when a part time competitor stoops so low as to write a fake negative review in order to attempt to gain a competitive edge.
This is the "Suzanne P" review.
They're very unhappy since they can't fly from our exclusive launch site and must go out to the barren desert in Marana and Avra valley FAR outside Tucson to fly.
A company like Balloon America does not stay in business continually for 25 years making false claims or hiding fees in fine print.
The picture of the balloon on our website home page was indeed taken right in front of the 9300 ft. tall Santa Catalina Mountains winter of 2010 after a beautiful snow storm. Here's a link with the rest of the pictures taken that day - curiously enough with a picture of our balloon with a Speedway Avenue street sign (a prominent Tucson street) in the foreground... The flying that day was spectacular and I've also included some pictures taken from the balloon while we flew! This is what you can expect to see when you fly with us. ENJOY!

What's even more telling about this lame attempt to make US look bad is that they even placed an AD for THEIR company right in the middle of the rant. Shameless! ;-))
We won't ever use dirty tactics like this - we think it's immoral, unethical and just plain unprofessional.
I personally invite you to come fly with us. Our exclusive and unique flight path in north east Tucson is one of the most beautiful in the WORLD.
Sincerely,
Captain Ron K. Miller

My husband, myself and four adult children flew with Balloon America this last Thanksgiving Day. It was a special treat as our family lives literally all over the world so we don't get together very often. I was amazed how smooth and quiet the flight was, nothing like I expected. We got to fly over the Tanque Verde Creek area for about a mile and then climbed up several thousand feet and headed toward the Catalina Mountains, literally breathtaking. The pilot explained that top was nearly 2 miles above sea level! After a gentle landing we returned back to our take off site and had a relaxing time next to the duck pond with the pilot. This tour was much, much more than expected, very well organized Pilot and flight crew. I'll be telling my friends that when they visit Tucson this is a "MUST!"

This company is completely dishonest in most everything they have put on their website! They have gone to alot of trouble to discredit the other balloon companies and their information is TOTALLY false!! (I know, because I have flown with Fleur de Tucson Balloon Tours, which is an honest and very professional company and I had a fantastic flight over the Tucson Mountains!) In addition, Balloon America has many "hidden" fees on their website which you won't see unless you read the small print! Furthermore, the picture they have posted on their front page is not even in Tucson; it is a picture of them in Colorado! Don't fly with this company!!

Balloon America is a Top Rate Balloon ride experience. With their easy to navigate website and pretty much all of your questions answered at your fingertips.. I surprised my girlfriend with a balloon ride on Valentine??s Day. This was her first experience in a balloon, it was truly amazing. The knowledge and the professionalism of Ron 'The Pilot' added quite a bit to the flight. I am looking forward to the next ride with Balloon America when I return from overseas. Thank you for the GREAT Experience... Would HIGHLY recommend Balloon America..

My husband surprised me with a ride on Valentines Day. All I can say is WOW! I had no idea we were going ballooning until we got in the car. He decided to opt for their first class tour which I understand is pretty expensive - but hey - I'm worth it! The personal chef who prepared our breakfast after the flight was fabulous. We ate in a private gazebo next to a duck pond - she even had linen napkins along with fresh cut flowers on the table and fresh ground coffee waiting for us after our flight.
We flew towards Sabino Canyon and the Catalina Mountains that were covered with snow. I felt like I could reach out and touch them. The flight was exceptionally smooth - not at all like I thought, and our pilot executed a feather soft landing. I was overall VERY impressed with how professional they were. The pilot showing up with a clean pilot shirt with epaulets made us both feel like he knew what he was doing from the very start. He teased me a lot during the flight but it relaxed me - he was actually pretty funny. My parents will be visiting next month and I can't wait to go again when its a little warmer. All in all an amazing experience and a Valentine's day I'll NEVER forget. Kudos to Balloon America!
