I joined Phoenix House Of Karate in June of 2001 .The training for me was six days a week about five some times six hours a day .It was a constant challenge to me ,and a learning experience second to none.I tried Newtons school of TaeKwonDo which I remember only being allowed to come in twice a week for the first month then after that they let me go four times a week.I wanted more and found that years later at Bernstens dojo.Along with learning a new kick block and technique I was crossed trained by the staff in the office as well on things like how to properly answer phones how to follow orders to the tee.The computer skills I have right now come from training at the dojo and my job well lets just say before Bernstens I was constantly in trouble no disicpline no sense of family or commitment or no full time job except crime. By keeping me busy everyday and stuffing myhead full of new thoughts and ideas slowly I changed my old thinking my old habits I developed better reactions to harmful situations which use to baffle me . I truely owe alot to the school and want to say thank you
