Food City

I went to your store today because I just needed a can of diced tomatoes and I was shocked at what I found. It was actually clean and the produce section looked 100% better than the last time I was there. It was early last year (I think) that my husband and I decided to try Food City again. We walked into this store and it looked dirty and the produce section had bugs flying around...needless to say we walked out and never returned again despite some of it's good prices.

Well, I ended up buying more items and I had to comment to the cashier about how the store had improved. She indicated that management had changed and I said it sure was for the best. I will definately return back now.

Thanks for cleaning it up and making the produce section so much more appealing...now if you could only get the cashiers an updated area to work in such as new cash registers and new counters. This would make it look so much better.

This particular Food City does not stand out above the rest. Although they do have a good selection of items their store does not run very smooth. Their check out lines are usually under-staffed and it takes longer to check out then to grab what you need. Another problem is their has been times when there is no english speaking employees on hand and their store is ofter dirty.
