I love their cooking, so aromatic and tasty. Even though the wait can be large and so its recommend only for weekend, the food is great. The dishes are all freshly prepared and the portions are pretty generous. The prices are quite reasonable too. Place to go when you are looking for something hot and fulfilling

Mrs White's offers the best soul food in the Southwest. The pork chops, black-eyed peas, yams, and cabbage are just the best anywhere. There are celebrity signatures all over the restaurant that show just how loyal a following this hole-in-the-wall has.

The service is slow and they only take cash, so be prepared for a long lunch when you go. They are only open on weekdays for lunch.

Well, the service here is nothing to get excited about, but the food is awesome. I go there often with my family (the gumbo on Fridays is great). I would recommend it, but make sure you can stay a while because they are slow, but worth it.
